I used to do a cartoon strip for the Millwall programme. Can't remember who it was sponsored by, or what it was called. I remember getting the phone call to do it as I was waiting to board the Isle of Mull ferry in Oban. Ten or eleven years ago now. Only ran for a season thank goodness.

Did it mention Mick McCarthy, Bute?

Shame on you bute that you don't know that one of our all time greats played for Millwall.

Of course! How could I have forgotten Finlayson..?

50:50 - I took great care not to mention wotsisname (other than initials in the "just for fun" table), so as not to incur any wrath, so please don't attempt to fan any flames from smouldering embers that exist only in your mind.

Feckin amateurs I swear.

You may have heard of mark Kennedy and Alex are, you know, two players who ended our 19 year exile from the top flight.

Millwall will be up for this both on and off the pitch. They hated Kenny walking out of 'his project' the moment a bigger club came knocking.

Controversial Herb.

Didn’t he walk out before we approached him? Him leaving had nothing to do with the vacancy at Wolves did it?

Someone should do a feature: "They played for both clubs", so I wouldn't have to go through this turmoil every week...

I think Claridge could appear on a regular basis if this were a feature

But not if it was a "scored for both teams" thread.

feckin hate the guy, went to the Pompey game when he scored a hattrick, was all over the fans, winding them up at any opportunity with hand gestures.
