They're both a bit rusty - let's be a little bit patient with them (especially on a rainy night in Shrewsbury).

Weird isn't.

To be honest judging from his body language he doesn't want to there tonight.

Fairly understandable seeing that he was playing and scoring in a World Cup Final in Rio about three months ago.

A cold, wet and windy Tuesday night in Shrewsbury isn't exactly the same thing.

I think he deserves time on a boggy pitch. Atleast he's making runs bless him.

it's been pretty much how I would have expected it.
Shrewsbury started quickly but flagged at the end and Chelsea took control of possession.
Unfortunately, without Hazard and Fabregas we lack creativity.

Salahs bursts down the left have been exciting up until he tries to shoot , shurrle has been dissapointing .. All in all our play in the final third has been extinguished . I hope we score soon we havnt been cohesive enough.

Someone needs calm Steve Clarke down. He's getting overexcited.

I'm willing to give Salah time. I certainly don't think he's been our worst player tonight by any stretch.

Mikel as usual failing to have any impact on the game whatsoever. A player with his experience and physical attributes should be dominating midfield in a game likes this.

Mmmm chocolate Bourbons

Salah just doesn't suit this boggy pitch, the ball really isn't moving well at all. I know Jose likes inverted wingers but I'd look to get Salah on the left for the second half were he can get some balls in to the box. The problem he seems to have isn't he isn't thinking ahead, he's running down blind alleys then thinking about what he's going to do next, he's so one footed that he's easy to defend against and we haven't really got the movement or pace ahead of him in Drogba.

The team havr clearly been told to try and find balls over the top by the manager but it just isn't working, that's why I want to see a bit more width and wider crosses as we look to flood the box rather than trying to beat a well drilled defence over the top when they sit deep, we just haven't got the space or the carry on the pitch to pull this off so it is players looking to pluck the ball out of the air in wet conditions.
