Money isn't an excuse anymore ffp has proved that. Simple fact of the matter is Arsenal's style of play at the moment is poor and there is absolutely no defence going into a season with only two senior centre backs and refusing to buy a proper defensive midfielder.

I think it was a disappointing result, but considering the circumstances, I can't really complain much. Yes, we should have bought a dynamic CB who could also play DM, but at the rate at which we lose players, there's no guarantee this player will have been on the pitch today. For a club that is well financed, encourages a good youth system, spends a decent amount on big players, a well run club unlike the ones run by multi-billionaire

I bet all of your earliest memories were the Henry, Viera, Bergkamp and Campbell days and expect to win constantly, never experienced your team losing like you have a right to win matches.
