Zabaleta is the best RB in the league
But agree you've got two great FBs
Zabaletta, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic all better than Coleman.
Coleman is the best RB in the league. Azpi might be better than Baines at the moment at LB, but I don't see many other great LBs in the league.
Zabaleta is by far the best RB in the league. Alongside Dani Alves as the top 2 in the world imo.
Baines is nothing but bang average with a good delivery from set pieces
Alves and Zabaleta better than Lahm Chris?
Baines? Azpilicueta is a right back and the best full back in England along with Zabaletta. You English always overrate your players. Baines is not a good defender. I admit Coleman looks a good prospect but he's not performing at the level of the Chelsea or City players though. Last year it was Luke Shaw who was the second coming but we have seen that young players need their time before being heaped with these tags of being the best.
Coleman isn't young. You are talking as if he is a teenager, xiuxiuejar
"Alves and Zabaleta better than Lahm Chris?"
Lahm is solid, dependable and I've never seen him make a mistake but would have these two ahead of him, they just bring another dimension going forward.
Not young but he's been very much under the radar. What is he 25? But he's only been playing regularly at the top level for 2 years. I think he's a good player but he is nowhere near the level you are painting. I will put it another way, you could put Zabaletta or Azpi in Real Madrid, Barça or Bayern and no one would bat an eye. Coleman is not that good.
Coleman is 26
Honestly thought he was 21 or 22
Chris
I just checked aswell
You just assume he's still young but he's not now and really is hitting his prime!
Best full back pair would have to be Ivanovic and Azpilicueta,City don't really have a good enough left back to be included
I though 24 or 25 so I wasn't far off but I think Moyes bought him and loaned him and he didn't look that great. Under Martinez he looked better last season but then Everton did well last season. He hasn't looked that great in some of the games this season.
Coleman has been Evertons first choice RB for over 4 seasons now, and has well over 100 appearances.
People only started noticing him when he started scoring, though, as attacking is what full backs are judged on these days.
Coleman and Baines are both in the same category- using their offensive abilities to make up for their less than great defensive ability.
it depends on the team you play for imo. Azpi is perfect for chelsea for his possession and one on one skills. Coleman at chelsea would be great in attack but would be the weak link in defense for sure. So like I said, horses for courses.
Azpi the best RB and LB in the league
Chelsea have the best full backs in the league, especially once Felipe Luiz gets going.
They have the added luxury of having Azpi play either side and pretty much always (bar yesterday) putting in a solid performance.
We have the best attacking fullback pair, chelsea have the best fullbacks in terms of all round ability
is it true Baines has set up 9 goals in all competitions this season, i know he's set up 5 in the league.
also Coleman has now scored 8 goals since the start of last season more than any other defender.

Being out for around a month might have something to do with ityet he's still bagged 3 goals.
Looks like people see the relative positions of players clubs and decide that they must be playing better than others.
Without a doubt they are the best FB partnership and I have seen very little from others at RB this season or last season to make me think differently. Baines has been poor by his standards.....still no real challenge to his position
Coleman came into the Everton side from a much lower quality league and had a storming first season playing mainly at RM under Moyes.
He did struggle with form and injury but a loan spell at Blackpool and helping secure promotion gave him the belief to back up his talent.

azpi is the best full back in the league. Followed by ivanovic(who wont be rated because people see him as a converted CB) followed by probably coleman then gibbs when fit then the overated zabaleta.
