It's a mystery although in fairness, we haven't looked good in any combination without Sturridge, so far.

The guys talented but seems he's decided he's the finished product and only half tries. Could be a beast but such a waste of talent

I remember telling you he would frustrate and delight you in equal measure. I was wrong, he is just frustrating you. He has all the talent but something isn't wired correctly upstairs I think.

Still, at least you have another ex City player to score your goals, he did that a bit for us too sadly.

Agree op. How many chances does a player need, doesnt even look like hes trying....and thats damning.

I don't know why everyone is getting into such a state regarding Mario. He always plays like this.

And it is no coincidence he had nothing to do with any of our goals...infact their two CBs have done him a favour by scoring for him.

But...he does have qualities...do doubt but they are not shining through yet. Our fast breaks don't suit him at all. For him to be effective then the whole team has to adapt. Personally, I'd bench him or stick someone upfront with him who can lengthen the pitch and show and make runs into the space.
