Did you actually watch the West brom game?

We did

United had to resort to professional fouls to keep the scoreline down.

Certainly showed us there. United are just getting better and better, yet we'll stay crap. Gotcha

Not as lucky as you guys yesterday

Good honest interview from LvG at least.

But yeah as I've said before the makings of a good team are certainly there but will it happened quick enough to get you too four? I don't think so. I think you'll be challenging for the league next season though.

Indeed but that's a sign of a good team, playing poorly and winning. At least that's what United fans have told us for years.

If the opposition had scored 2 for us it would have been an easy win

you create your own luck and it's always deserved (you taught us that)

As much as I love my fellow United fans I am not sure we are the ones who originally came up with that....

But I am glad you've proven that scousers can learn

Football can be a cruel game

We let them have 2 shots on target in the 90 minutes and they put away both, including a worldy. We had plenty chances to score, but our finishing was definitely off, Falcao probably should have started.

We had no luck with us today though

Too right it can be cruel. West Brom out play you for most of the match and come away with a single point due to a late equaliser. Can't be much more cruel than that.

We were comfortably on top until Rooney's moment of madness though, and against Everton, they really didn't even look like scoring until the last 5 minutes. MOTD highlights make it look like a different game.

Hold up,they scores and missed a pen,so how can they not look like scoring?

Manc logic.

Same logic that says van gaal is doing a better job than Moyes, despite :
Spending nearly £200m
Getting battered by MK Dons
Not having any European football to deal with
Playing all three promoted teams and 17th from last season (who just got battered 8-0)
Only being 1 point better off

Manc logic

As opposed to scouse logic which involves Carroll being payed for by Chelsea, Brendan being more important to the team than Suarez and Liverpool's defence actually being better than United's!

Logic?

Well just to give you a little lesson -
Chelsea bought torres for 50m, and we bought carroll for 35m. Highly unlikely we would have paid £35m for Carroll without Torres being sold, ergo Chelsea did help pay for Carroll. Not sure who would dispute that.

The manager is the most important figure at a football club. Knowing what you know now, would you rather have lost fergie or Ronaldo if you had the choice a few years back?
See logic.

Liverpool with our defence are above Man U in the league. Hence better. That's logic at work for you.

However deducing that Van Gaal is doing a better job than Moyes, despite :

Getting battered by MK Dons
Not having any European football to deal with
Playing all three promoted teams and 17th from last season (who just got battered 8-0)
Only being 1 point better off!

That's that special Manc logic right there!

That isn't what was said at all though is it....

We want £15M + Carroll for Torres ring a bell?

Brendan comparable to SAF....

Then I guess Phil Neville really was a better player than Gerrard, after all he finished above him in the league soo many times....

Scouse logic

I haven't really seen a huge amount of United fans bigging up the job LVG has done so far.... or say that it has been much better than what Moyes did....

You talk about reading ability then claim that he made a comparison between Fergie and Rodgers:

Amazing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ronaldo and Suarez are comparable (Ronaldo is a bit better)... his whole text made sense if Brendan was considered somewhat close to SAF in management ability.

Here is his text

He actually compared United keeping SAF but losing Ronaldo to Liverpool keeping Brendan but losing Suarez...

Now whilst Suarez and Ronaldo are fairly close Brendan and SAF are nowhere near...

Yes and I didn't say anything against that statement...

It was him comparing it to United losing Ronaldo rather than SAF that I had a problem with for reasons explained above.

I guess we will have to wait and see but from the outside it looks as if Suarez got into sparkling form combined with Liverpool having a lack of other commitments. Getting a decent manager in and keeping Suarez would have been better for Liverpool whereas his comparison falls down because we can't say the same for United.
