And Sterling and Broini will never work as a striking partnership, Bring Mario in at least he's got the CL experience.

We can make it a 5 man midfield without the ball Sterlign and Cout can drop in, Mario will be isolated but whoever plays up top will be a bit isolated v Madrid, Mario has the ability to maybe do soething Borini or Lambert just can't do.

Robbing I can;t see how else we would set up with those players playing. I just don't see Sterling as a striker especially one who will lead the line allowing Mario to roam.

Would you drop one of Cout or Sterling for Borini or Lambert so one can partner Mario?

I'd got with Moreno at left back. And Balotelli up front. This is the sort of game he'll do something in.

Sterling played very well in that position on a few occasions last season, and it's a very mobile formation. It could easily change from 4-5-1 to 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-2-1-2.

Sterling and Borini would be the furthest up, hanging on the last man for Coutinho/Allen/Hendo looking for the through balls.

If we are going to isolate a striker then i would prefer it to be Lambert as he will work harder and for me is better at holding up the ball. However i can see the argument that Mario could do something special on a night like this...

though if he plays like a world beater it will annoy me just as much!!

I don't understand this idea of having Borini behind Balotelli and Lambert in our selection choices. He has proved more in such a smaller frame of time on the pitch, than both Lambert and Balo. I like his attitude aswell...works hard on the pitch, and has something to prove. He deserves a start!

I'd personally start Lambert up top in place of Balotelli with Sterling and Lallana, bring Coutinho on a bit later on in the game.

Back four would have to be Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno for me.

Against Ludo he was running down the channels, stretching play, and tested the keeper strait away.

We need someone to make the runs like Sterling was doing against QPR, and someone to hassle the opposition defence. Borini does that!

We need to get our best players on the pitch somehow so I guess a diamond with Sterling off Mario. I kind of want to start Mario as a last chance in this game and if still feckless then give Lambert a proper run.

Saying that I want Lallana on the pitch.

Balo confidence must be low. He should be rested. Real are like us their defence and midfield struggle when bullied and don't like set pieces. Lambert should play instead. I will play 5 man midfield Gerrard Lucas Allen Coutinho and Sterling . I like Enrique but I think he's not ready yet. He was poor yesterday. He was the same during the preseason. I don't trust Skrtel. I have never trusted him.

Was kind of hoping Ramos would play. Well worth a sending off that lad.

Ramos is also the type of player who can take the game away from you in an instant! He performs in the big games as Bayern.

If you had Suarez then Ramos would have been good to have but without your top dribblers in Sturridge and suarez it's a good thing he is not playing.
