Beradi was completely AWOL for Wednesday goal.
Probably because Cellino wishes it.....
I don't believe that is the case.
Berardi and Warnock played the last game. Did Warnock get blamed for that equaliser?
If so, bringing Byram back into the team with no obvious alternative for the left back position would lend itself to Berardi swapping positions. The latter is experienced at playing across the back four.
Redmond swaps flanks regularly, he's bloody quick. Is Warnock considered to be a slower option to the selected full backs?
Could be penalising Warnock or could be tactical.
Take your pick. Or it could be Cellino. My beef with the latter is the number of players bought in creates healthy competition and it wouldn't be in MC's interests to have a predetermined selection policy either from a squad morale perspective or from a financial point of view.
Just an opinion.
Don't think he's to blame Jonty. Maguire was no immediate threat, therefore you come back on the inside. Byram was out wide, for some strange reason Bellusci decided to run out there and let him cross, didn't challenge him. IMO Berardi was in right position. Would have liked to see it from above, maybe Berardi should have cut out the cross, but not sure how close he was to the ball when coming in
It's Berardi's fault now, thought you said it was Bellusci's?
They are all prone to making errors. Warnock for example against Rotherham.
Who would you play Jonty?
---------------------------Silvestri
Byram----------Pearce------------Bellusci-------Berardi
---------------------------Bianchi
-------------------Austin--------Mowatt
---------------------------Adyran
-------------------Antenucci-----Doukara
Stevie, it was both of theirs, Bellusci came rushing out of position instead of letting right back do his job, Beradi completely out of position let Maguire I think it was unmarked advance and shoot.
I would not play a right back in left back slot when I have the club's best left back available.
We all, Beradi was nowhere near cross, was on penalty spot, not where I'd want left back to be.
Does anyone use any of the video links on a Mac?

In that situation, IMO, Berardi was in right position, Maguire was probably well outside the box when ball was out wide, in this situation you have to stay tight, Bellusci's fault IMO
Thought Berardi was crud st left back against Shef Wed.
Looked like a right back, out of position.
We all, was just watching the same clip, I just expect left and right backs to not be in penalty area especially when the corner of that box isn't covered.
Either way, it's one of the B's fault, wonder if Stevie can accept that....
good strike but weak goal to concede
I watched it again also. It was a great goal. Freeze it after he hits it and there were two other free men on the edge of the box available to him for the pass inside. He scored a 20 yarder. But, if he'd chosen to, he could've laid it off to either one of the other two standing free. You can blame Bellusci for being drawn over to the wing. You could blame the right back for not picking that bloke up. You could blame Berardi for not dropping out wider to cover Maguire
and having his back turned. Or you could blame the team as a whole for allowing three men a free run at goal, and allowing a goal. Or, you say it was a great goal. Whatever you chose, it's done and dusted.
Most defenders are out of position when opponents score and even when they don't score...
Hell it will never be a perfect game so let's enjoy the imperfect game...trust me I'm not a football coach!
Well, if you have LB playing instead of Beradi and you have Bellusci sticking to where he;s meant to be, you have much less chance of conceding, great saying its done and dusted but here we see Beradi at LB again.
Accident waiting to happen.
True. But the question was, is Berardi guaranteed a spot in starting 11
Weall, I would say yes, wouldn't you?
Weall, you could make the case that he is based on evidence. It might be more down to him being a MC/Salerno signing. Maybe in their eyes, he is the best full back? I wouldn't agree with that if it were true.
Just speculating.
Only time will tell, guess we'll have to wait and see if Byram and Warnock start when he's not injured or suspended
Weall, well that's right now, one of Warnock or Byram is not starting when Beradi is not injured or suspended.
I thought Warnock was very poor second half on Friday. Clueless going forward and poor defending.
That said surely we should have another left back at the club?
Yeah I know, but I guess we'll only know for sure about this if Warnock and Byram start a game, when Berardi is not injured or suspended, only then we'll know he's not guaranteed a start. Til then that question remains...
Warnock had a good start to the season, but he is clearly a player past his peak. The best left back we have now, and definitely should be starting - if he isn't, I'd like Taylor to be given an opportunity.
Warnock struggles with pace and isn't the best going, forward, so agree with Stoopo - we do need a leftback next summer or in January.
Should be starting of Berardi though.
Weall, gotcha, I think you'll know when we have White/Taylor available and Warnock gets dropped for Beradi and White/taylor not given chance.
