In relation to the 2 leeds players colliding,
if you look at the two leeds players just as the cross comes in, you can see a push by a Norwich player on the Leeds player which caused him to collide with Austin.
Ref perfectly placed and did nothing.
"...if it was a racist slur it would'ave been more tactical than Bellusci being racist..."
"He's also obviously insecure about the colour of his own skin if, and I say if the slur was colour related."
I'm staggered. I'm completely gobsmacked that you could have written this!
I have no idea about the truth of the incident - I listened on LUTV - but if it is true, there are no mitigating factors.
Attempted defence of the actions, simply because he's a Leeds player, is in my opinion deplorable. I'm afraid you are showing yourself to have no idea about the seriousness of racism.
Incredible.
Complete and utter disgrace of an article
I've actually found the reaction of a lot of Leeds shocking.
There seems to be this under current of blindy back the club no matter what, because it's cellino in charge
Shamefull
Oh....my....god
And there lies the proof that you truly are a complete moron, and utterly stupid!
What a complete utter embarrassment
Gelderd ............ please explain; are you referring to Luvr, LIW or Jonty with that last statement ?!?!?!?
(just trying to introduce some levity into this thread!).
Luvr............. sorry fella, if it's a racist comment, it's a racist comment. Nothing to do with tactics, nothing to do with language barriers - racism is racism.
At the moment he's innocent, as no proof has been released that we're aware of. But if found guilty, then the club has to show real leadership and get shot.
We don't need that sort of association with our club, regardless of how good or bad a player he is.
There is no defence to racism. Kick it out.
Luvr....obviously
You can't defend anyone accused of racism! Tactical racism? Amazing comment
Gelderd ...... I did guess that .....
You can defend anyone while only accused, innocent until proven and all that - but once proven to be guilty, then kick them out.
Tactical racism is an interesting thought, not sure it'll catch on anywhere soon ..............
Tactical racism
Like in NFL, where they have specialists for such tings as Field Goals. Football should introduce "specialist racists"
When an opposing player is having a good game, send on a really good racist to mark him at the next corner, he gets 90 seconds to make the player cry or angry.
This sounds very Russian.
This sounds very Russian.

Is that a tactical comment ........... ?!?!?!?
Is this some kind of "joke" Luvr?
If being slightly <retarded> is a "joke", then yeah
Some things are just undefendable!!!
Racism is one of them.
My inswinging corners are another
This article has more issues than Sunderland, Roma and BATE's defenses combined, embarrassing
The allegation is of racial abuse, not racism.
The referee stopped the game to discuss the matter with the managers. Is that the correct thing to do? It certainly isn't typical... does the fact it was racial abuse as opposed to any other form of abuse mean that different rules apply?
Innocent until proven guilty... and if the claim is false what will be the fallout? Any punishment for Jerome like a striker would get for diving?
The defender's reputation is damaged regardless of the outcome.
The line between sledging and abuse is less clear cut than a lot of people would like to admit. Sledging is commonplace in professional sport and people will say things to deliberately put opponents off... where is the line drawn?

Re-tarded am I Jud, you obviously don't play sport of any kind.
you obviously don't watch to many games of football either.
Do you think tactical racist slurs don't happen, then you're very naive, so are those who agree with you.
It happened when I was playing football in Army, it ain't stopped since either.
If he's guilty, he's guilty, but it has to be proved beyond doubt. If he's innocent, then he's innocent.
For record, I never said Bellusci made the slur, or did it to be tactical, read the post properly before jumping on others bandwagons, cos you show your lack of intelligence when you don't.
I looked at both sides of the coin. some people.
As M,rMortimer says, sledging is commonplace in sport, maybe Jud / Geldered you should try listening to the Aussie cricketers, they're good at it.
Does it have to be proven beyond doubt? Terry was found not guilty in a court of law and then guilty on the basis of probability by the FA... (this is in spite of the FA's own rules stating it will not look at a case that has been dealt with in a court of law unless fresh evidence comes to light).
Tackling racism is a PR exercise for football's authorities... that is all.
Very surprised people seem to think sledging doesn't happen in football... the higher up the leagues you go, the more it will occur - and if there is a subject that you know will get to a player then of course players will use it.
it's all about margins and people will exploit anything they can to maximise margins...Not making light of racism just my two pennies worth

What I find <retarded> is:
2, Bellusci has Duke and Austin as team mates, I can't see Bellusci being racist.
--------------------------
You can still be a racist or make racist remarks and work with black people. To think otherwise is <retarded>
3, Bellusci has had previous opportunities to make racist slurs against players from other teams, but he never has.
-------------------------
You can also be racist/or make racist remarks, even if you didn't make a racist remark in a previous situation similar to this one. To think otherwise, is pretty <retarded>
you should try listening to the Aussie cricketers, they're good at it.

I agree, I actually went over to play in Oz in 2002 when I left school for a few months. They are very good at it.
We aren't too bad ourselves, and when 1 of the Oz lads came back over with me to the lovely Doncaster area, he got a decent sledging as well.
Problem was he could bowl very fast and bat very very well....something I couldnt
