Same here.

Same old same old story...
Yeah, only 8 games into the season, but these 8 games show exactly what our problems are, and how large the gap in between us and the other big teams.

I don't think to buy a player or two can help us much at this point. Call me pessimistic.

Not switching off. This is Arsenal, and we don't give up. We will beat the Belgian champions with our paper thin squad and come back with renewed belief in the league. We will show that our performances this season have not quite matched the results and that our FA cup win and Shield win against the Champions weren't a fluke either. Believe!

I know what you mean. This team is too predictable and we are playing boring football most of the time. Personally I can't wait for Wenger to be replaced . We have grown so stale under him. Was at the Emirates on Saturday. Absolutely dire performance with no imagination. Thank God for Alexis and Welbeck.

Having said that I have supported Arsenal for over 40 years and when they lose it still ruins my week-end and when they win, it definitely puts a spring in my step.Nothing going to change that.

We just need a new coach with a fresh approach . That is all.

We are short on defenders and don't have a decent DM. And we are not dominating any games or winning big at all. And we usually trail early and then feel great about drawing a winnable game and give up a lead and feel deflated at the end of the game,

Of course I don't expect us to beat any top 7 team at all.

It's just going to be another season of scraping top 4, lack of investment in the areas we need, injury crisis, nothing changes.

Fans! Never satisfied. Coming from the back of an FA Cup and Shield win and some very good buys, and in the CL for the 17th consecutive season, regularly finishing in the top four. You couldn't make it up.

Too fickle!

Not reached that stage yet OP, but dropped points seem to affect me a lot less now. Earlier my weekend would be completely destroyed if we even had the gall to draw a match

I'm only really excited at the moment watching Sanchez get on the ball he is the only one who tries to make something happen. Really do lose the will to live when the centre backs just pass it between themselves.

Oxtail. No one is taking about the last 17 years. It is because if the FA cup and the good start to the offseason which has now disappointed fans who thought we would address our weaknesses and move forward,

I understand, but it is just 8 games into the season. Will your tone change if we flog the Belgian champions tonight on their turf, repeat the same feat next week at the Emirates and win our next three EPL fixtures convincingly?

If we don't challenge for the title this season then I count it as a complete failure.

I doubt what you described will make much difference to how the fans feel. It would take a league or CL win for me to change my mind on Wenger, and we're doing neither of those.

Yep I feel the same. There's none of that excitement left. The main reason is because from last season we could've kicked on and really challenged for the title and CL this season, but Wenger's reluctance makes you think why even bother. Now it's just a waiting game till Wenger gets sacked/leaves and then the excitement will return again.

I've lost nearly all interest. Was gonna watch the match tonight but my mates are having a few drinks for the Liverpool match so will probably end up watching that instead. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd willingly not watch us play.

switched off already for the rest of this season

after the euphoria of wembley, the false promises once again in the summer have materialised into nothingness.

when hull scored just after half time I actually laughed at the shambles that we're turning into

In previous seasons we have had a small hope we might challenge for the title. but this season I think only a fool would think we have any chance. The best we can hope for this year is top 4 and Im not even too confident about that.

posted on 22/10/14

Last season we had hope, before that we haven't put in a half decent challenge since the 10/11 collapse.

There are people always mixed up supporting Arsenal and supporting Arsene.

Tried to get tickets to see us play man utd but as a red member absolutely no chance. Dearest prices and still can't get a ticket. Real fans treated like carp and Wenger losing the plot .......but ...for better or worse ...I'm a gooner for life.

I am finding football in general a bore now I am near 40 and a father. It all just seems a bit boring and repetitive.
