Agree with herbie

Even in the past, we always had a style.

The football has regressed so badly

We just always seem to struggle against teams that sit deep and play on the counter. Is it a blind spot in our coaching?

Please Rosicky on for woeful Aaron Ramsey in the second half.

Only watched first 20 of the Arsenal game, turned over to Madrid Liverpool. Looks like I made a good choice.

Wenger has regressed

Any amount of decent pace on our flanks always brings the best out of our passing game. Can't wait for Theo and Serge to hit their stride

Not talking about this game only..
Ox has speed (not lightening), Alexis has speed, Welbeck has speed, Ozil (before injury) has speed, Bellarin has speed...
Did we really utilize our speed?

How many times has Alexis or Santi stayed on the wing? We are not playing with any positional discipline.

Wenger can have Messi-Ronaldo up top with the invisible midfield, Arsenal have they would never achieve anything.

Cracks me up this. That Wenger is suddenly going to find the formula needed to correct his own startling decline on the basis of a player who's done exactly nothign in his career and a player who, whilst effective and often a genuine match winner for us, can be inconsistent, despite the fact that he's shown himself to be completely clueless in making us any better when presenting the side with a £42m option in attacking midfield and a £35m option as a wing forward.

Nothing will change until the one declining constant of the past 8 years either does something different (which he's probably now incapable of doing) or is given his P45.

Ox , Theo, Gibbs and Gnabry have pace. Alexis, Ozil and Welbeck are turtles by comparison.

The irony is we are fecking up because Wenger is trying to be innovative.

I agree Herbie, suddenly an in and out Walcott and a player that has done nothing for us are going to change it all around and save our season. It's Naive

I'm telling you if Ronaldo played for us we would not look much better than this. We have an excellent squad with a few obvious weaknesses, but even with the right players I couldn't see Wenger molding together another winning team. The guy is past it and doesn't understand modern football. To top it all off, he is incredibly stubborn and won't change things that clearly aren't working - ie, this tragic formation.

Face it, we are facked for 3 more years because Wenger ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Hope the AKBs are happy though.

speed includes pace and acceleration.
Ozil, Alexis and Welbeck are NOT slow at all, and have very decent pace (I say they are pretty fast actually), but not as fast as Theo running 100m.
In a short distance, their acceleration is pretty good.
We are not a slow team.

At least we can all look forward to 3 more years of winning the 4th place trophy

There's just so much missing from us, tired of repeating it, when we correct something another cog in the system goes missing and some things never change

Imagine if Sanogo was upfront . It's depressing, my Arsenal . Really.

Sanogo? you mean the next Henry according to Wenger?

In any professional sport, if the coach/manager cannot push his team to improve to another level, cannot motivate his team, it is time for him to go.

In fact, our team is regressing.

The Balotelli comedy show at Liverpool has well and truly begun.

We only started playing faster when Wilshere went off on the weekend.

Ramsey has to go deeper. Oxlade wide and bring Santi to the middle behind welbeck.

Balotelli looks like a bullet dodged at least.
