Casillas was a good keeper, but like Nick said, he loved to parry his oncoming shots, never ever looked as composed as Cech did in set pieces during Cech's best years, as a shot stopper Cech was no worse than Casillas and people discount Cech's distribution, but that was one of his strong points imo, and better than Casillas. I'd also like to say that I think Reina was a bteer keeper than Casillas for much of the late 2000s, Casillas has just been one of Spain's and RM's golden boy, much like Raul was.
As for strikers, I can't see past Drogba as the ultimate all round striker Mourinho had. Drogba's technical ability continuously gets downplayed.

Drogba wasn't that good under Mourinho. He was better when he left.
Milito was better under Mourinho than Drogba was.
I'd argue Higuain and Benzema were better under Mourinho than Drogba was.
At their best, however, Drogba was the best of the lot.
But a Mourinho 11 shouldn't really include a player's form under different managers should it?
Didn't Drogba have his 2nd best season under Mourinho?
Drogba was one of the main catalysts for us to win tour first two league titles under Mourinho. His hold up and link up play were one of the main factors in Robben, Duff and Lampard all doing really well.
imo Drogba easily gets this spot, even as good as Milito was that one season.
TBK
Sentiment aside, Costa is better than Drogba for me.
Think you're overrating Drogba, to be honest.
I think you're underrating him quite a bit.
To put things into context of Drogba and Costas chelsea careers were reversed so that Costa was the older one (probably is) then I think Jose would have tried to sign Costa for Inter, Even with Milito and Eto'o.
Maybe Jose tried to sign Drogs but not that I'm aware of, It was more Lampard he really tried to sign.
Not really. You're saying he easily gets that spot when he's not even been as good as three strikers Jose has managed.
Yeah, because you're saying he has not been as good as the three strikers Jose has managed when he has been.
You are all wrong. Jose's best striker was Zlatan Ibrahimovic. No contest.
No he wasn't.
Fack, how could I forget Zlatan.
TRC wins.

As much as I have liked Costa this season, I can't help but think his goals have come to him served on a plate by our extremely talented AM's and CM's, something which Drogba didn't have the luxury of for the majority of his Chelsea career. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see Costa as the striker to get as a goal out of nothing when we are in desperate need for one like Drogba used to. Apart from finishing (not even sure about that) I don't thin Costa is better than Drogba in any other part of his game.
Yes he was
Also we have forgotten Adriano
KDB is right. Costa is a poacher trapped in a bull's body. All his goals come from good/oppurtunistic finishes from inside the box. All his Atletico goals last season were inside the box, and only about 2 were headed. Drogba had much more to his game, Costa is a better goalscorer though.
----------------- Drogba ----------------
Robben ------------------------ Ronaldo
-------- Lampard --- Sneijder ---------
--------------- Makelele ----------------
Zanetti --- Terry --- Lucio --- Maicon
------------------ Cech -----------------
Maybe:
Eto'o for Robben
Milito for Drogba
I'd say Ferreira for Maicon and Drogba for Costa and that would be his favourite
Not sure how Modric makes the team when he was considered a flop at Madrid under most of Jose reign.
costa has a better touch then drogba whose was very poor at times(drogba was a two touch max player, good when he didnt have to think)
costa is also quicker even than in prime drogs.
costas movement is also better(those saying that hes a poacher, look at the movement he makes to get into positions)
His passing is better and his work rate is better 10 fold.
drogba was stronger, probably only just and better in the air.
finishing probably about even or costa edges it.
People over hype drogba for his fantastic game winning moments. all of which were either headers or two touch maxes in big moments in games. People forget the frustration of his poor first touch, games where he went missing and games where his workrate stank.
p.s. nothing against drogba, eventhe other day i argued his case for his goal tally being more impressive than rooneys in goals to games etc when discussing PL best ever 11.
Just people get nostalgic with drogba due to his finals record and have forgotten the poorer aspect of his game(some which came flooding back when he came on the other night)

Spot on, Nick.
The only season at Chelsea where Drogba was truly consistently brilliant was in 2010. He did a lot for Chelsea in his time, of course, but I think what you've said is spot on and the times he wasn't the best at Chelsea is glossed over - particularly in Mourinho's first two seasons, where he came under a lot of criticism for not scoring enough goals for a striker in comfortably the best team in the country - something many seem to forget.
Look at Giroud, for example, he scored more goals in his first two seasons in England than Drogba did and Arsenal fans hate him (not saying he was as good as Drogba but the point is he's not scoring enough for a side that scrapes fourth, let alone a title winning side).
He was very good in 2007 as well.
