I've got two grandchildren who should become Derby County fans. One of the grand kids father is an Arsenal fan. I've just bought them both Derby County kits

That wouldn't surprise me OOE, I know they used to give free tickets to the Irish Supporters club as they spent a fortune in the club shop.

It's a cracking idea and i'm surprised more clubs don't do it. Get the fans in when they're young and they'll more than likely have an affinity for life and try to pass it on to their kids and so on.

Baz, they'll probably say our 30,000 gate this weekend is really only 20,000 because we've given away 10,000 frre tickets

True Ang. Either way I can never see us living this down.... Just wait!

This is simply a marketing exercise. If they really wanted to help in the community they would endeavour to keep ticket prices lower for all fans instead of trying to hook kids in and then assuming some will put pressure on their parents to continue taking them.

I'd prefer to implement a program where school bullies throughout Derby are subsidised by the club to carry out on the spot beatings for kids in any shirt other than DCFC and steal the dinner money of any child who can't name at least 12 of the current squad.

Son of Ang can't make it on Saturday, so Mrs A's coming instead: she can only name 8.
Any suggestions ?

The real story though is that Forest took 85 more fans to Watford than we took to Blackpool.

Costing over £60 for me and my two little boys this Saturday. I'm still awaiting the easily accessible freebies promised by my Red friends ?

OOE couldn't agree more.
And can't wait to see what happens when we really get into our stride!
