A lad at work is an Ipswich fan. He's also a massive kn-bhead so defeat is unthinkable for me in this one. He's been pretty cocky, predicting "at least 3-0". If we win I'm going to strangle him with a length of 2.5mm twin and earth.

just feel Town were off their game on Tuesday and I hope this isn't the start of a trend. all that tippy tappy crap at the back left me more cold than i already was...we also looked a bit short of options with the midfield so deep.

I dare say CP would be happy with a point at Ipswich, but if we play like tuesday we'll get stuffed.

CP is relying on the same 11 players to do the stuff over recent weeks, which is either confidence in them, or lack of confidence in the stiffs..

The key to the game will be Scannell and Bunn...if theycan find some space to get round them we might do okay, otherwise I can only see a defeat i'm afraid..

Mick McCarthy is a very good manager and will have Ipswich well organised. I'm not sure if there will be many goals in this one. It depends if Wells plays and how fired up he is after not playing for a very significant amount of minutes.

Huddersfieild have to maintain concentration for the whole match in defence. I was rather disappointed to see that they conceded on Tuesday night, just before half time again, it's becoming a habit!

it's a good test for our new found confidence...and with Forest and Derby to follow we'll be lucky to get 2 points from these 3 games I reckon...Hope I'm wrong, but we're not the finished article going by the effort against Brighton. We failed to bring our best assets in to that game (Scannell, Bunn and Holt).

reverting to Danny Ward is a step backwards for me and with Wells still a bit of a lightweight I think we are still short of another striker. Vaughan is nowehere to be seen and neither is Hammill, who was once a regular.

Paterson might do the trick for us but if CP is committed to playing just one up top that will only ever be when Holt is knackered.

We need a bit more ammo for me, relying on the same 11 tends to suggest we don't have enough quality back up.

A win at Ipswich however should set us up for a good crowd next Saturday when Forest come to Town again.
