Surprised to see arteta and flamini! Suppose because ramsey is recently returning from injury

That team is very very poor, I put us down for a 3-2 win. Now I don't think we will win.

No doubt mannone will have best game of his career.

What a shocking team

I think this has 1-0 written all over it.

Looking forward to seeing the reaction from both teams following their respective last games.

Theo on the bench, welcome back!

This is a definite floundering on edge of 18 yard box game. Little creativity. Hopefully we can utilise the pace in the team. But no doubt it'll be the crappy passing game as usual.

Shocking team, we are going to struggle again

why is our bench stronger than our first team

Arsenal team v Sunderland: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Alexis, Welbeck
Arsenal subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Ramsey, Campbell, Rosicky, Walcott, Podolski

Very cautious team, think he is looking to get some kind of defensive stability back. Relying big time on our front 3 to produce something though.

This game will show how much we miss Arteta

Fletcher will be loving having to face up against Monreal. He could cause us problems.

Arsenal. I don't think it will be a goal fest today, with Sunderland having something to prove.

Arteta is fine with a Wilshere or Ramsey but with flamini it's a joke

Here's a revolutionary idea. How about you play Monreal at right back and Chambers at centre back.

Or trust in Bellerin who has put in good performances when called upon.

tbf Monreal hasnt dont much wrong at cb. If chambers provides more crosses like on wednesday for gibbs then he can stay there!

Monreal has put in some very willing and spirited shifts but that doesn't mean he's good in that position. He's 5'9 for crying out loud.

So all our players come back better after coaching from Barca.

Yeah, Hleb was twice the player for Birmingham as he was for us.

One thing the Champions League game showed us is that Welbeck needs a rest.

Surely this match is the perfect opportunity to give Poldi a start?
