That was a shock result for sure yesterday, Barking, and one wonders if Bournemouth will be able to repeat the feat when they play WBA on Tuesday.

I think we should be generous and lend you Roger Johnson for the remainder of the season, with the proviso of course, that in the 2 games against us, you can't not play him.

League One is the place to rebuild an entire structure - from the scouts, through the playing staff at all levels, to the coach. The Championship is not the place to do that.

If you get the right manager in by Saturday, I would fancy Blues to snatch a win. You have been fine away from home and have a couple of players who are more than capable of roasting our dodgy defence.

If you do not get a manager in - and keep that plum you have in charge now - I can honestly see Wolves winning by ten to fifteen goals.

Just noticed that Newcastle are on the same points as Top 6 chasing Albion - how the hell did that happen?

You just know they are gona win 1-0 !!!! It was crap going to league 1 but I have to say I liked it!!! Going to all the old grounds!!!

Don't worry, barca, we are Wolves and we don't do the expected. We played Rotherham and Blackpool and Huddersfield and were expected to beat all 3 and look what happened.

Perhaps League 1 would be a Godsend for Blues. We're never going to compete in the Championship, and watching them lose every week isn't my idea of fun at all.

So if we're going to start all over again with a new board, new chairman & manager (hopefully), then perhaps we can start afresh in the pitch playing League One-quality teams, and just build from there.

It may take a couple of seasons but hopefully by 2018 we might actually have the money & the players to challenge the Championship, and perhaps even the Premiership (just look at Wolves right now!)

So if we do go down this season I won't be too fussed. We just need a cunning plan to get ourselves back on the road again.

It would be best for you to go down as daft as that sounds!!!! ...................it just hurts!!!!! But if we didn't we would still have that Welsh loon in charge!!!!

Can't see Blues turning the corner under this ownership. No manager with an ounce of ambition would want to work for them.

They'd need a magician, like Merlin, that's for sure. I hope they do okay, not at our expense, but a team that carries the name of England's 2nd city deserves better.

Going down can be a blessing in disguise, it did us the power of good and is the reason we are doing what we are doing this season.

It did - but only because the right changes were implemented throughout the whole club.

Otherwise, everybody would be fighting to get relegated.

Not really unc, the alternative would have been just scraping survival, Deano getting an extra 3 months plus a wasted window before we struggle.

Going down forced us to act and actually put a plan in place.

The difference with us though is that we had enough financial backing, a good stadium, a first class academy, a board of directors that care about the club and a reputation as a 'big club'. As a result most managers would be keen to come in and take the challenge to get the 'big club back on its feet and back up to the league where it belongs.

Birmingham City FC haven't got a pot to píss in.

But they have the name of Britain's second city, which is something.

posted on 26/10/14

Sadly Bute I don't think that is going to help them unless Birmingham City Council decide to donate £50 million to get them out of the shít (but not until they have got rid of the corrupt board who would likely spirit the money away as they have with all the rest)

I reckon their best bet is for a consortium of ex Blues players who really care about the club buy it and run it.

Alan Curbishley
Trevor Francis
Jimmy Calderwood
Mick Harford

Are a few names that spring to mind

Don't forget RJ

posted on 26/10/14

Of course Silly of me. How could I have missed out that most caring and devoted player that any team would be lucky enough to have grace their shirt.

posted on 26/10/14

Funnily enough RJ would probably do a job if he went back there and played. He had his best spell there.

posted on 26/10/14

he couldn't do a worse job than what they have now thats for sure.

I see that Davis(remember him) came on as a sub to sure up things after they went down to ten men.............it didn't work very well

Beware the wounded beast. That is all.

I’ve been desperate for the situation at Blues to get sorted and for the crook to be forced to sell to different owner so I can get back to laughing at you for being useless rather than feeling pity for you.

It’s taking too long though so I’m just going to ignore the ownership situation and get back to laughing at you.

Pathetic team, terrible club, awful fans, hope you go down and have a miserable time in Div 3.

What was the quote you threw at me once when it looked like we were going down Barca?

“If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by.”

I’m going to start calling all Blues fans BOB I think

Are you absolutely sure they’re Noses? I do not recognise that description at all.

The odd one or two are realistic enough to accept their place as Brums third club and not take themselves too seriously but those are few and far between.

Most of them are deeply, deeply unpleasant in my experience.

posted on 27/10/14

Im with you Tatter I find Brummies very strange folk! Not like us Black country boys! They don't have manners!!!

We will lose 1-0 on sat!!!
