Agree on some points mate but his results are good, he knows how to pick a team to get a result, but it's ugly, boring and very predictable football, trap is almost scared to play good footballers in the middle.
i agree he's had some good results but how many of them have been down to him and his tactics. he's had a lot of luck in some games. when it comes down to it, success will be qualifying for the euros, not 'nearly' qualifying for the euros so we will wait and see
Total rubbish Rover. McCarthy pulls out of every friendly squad he's picked for. He cannot decide that he'll only play competitive games. He's only 3 caps FFS, who does he think he is??? Slag off Gibson, Andrews and Whelan all you want, at least you know they turn up when the squad assembles.
We've got a great chance of qualifying, do you not remember the two donkeys we had before Trappatoni??? Also Keane has 51 goals for us and scored twice in our last competitive game but you think he should be dropped. I'm glad you're not in charge dude.
Didnt Muamba almsot break Mccarthys ankle last year and it keeps flaring up. Hes had loads of problems with it and I think a lot of the pull outs have been coincedental. Id imagine as a young plyer he is trying to stay in the Wigan side as much as possible which is tough to do with the ankle, and probably feels he owes Martinez aswell.
