But you've got the tactical genius LVG in charge to mastermind away victories for you

Only QPR and Villa look like places we'll pick up wins.

---------------

Don't forget Arsenal.

You listed nine games not ten. No reason why United can't win six or seven of those games at least now that players are starting to bed in and (fingers crossed) the injury situation stays ok.

Changed it

I very much doubt we'll get a win at City, Arsenal or Saints. After that it's just down to how we're playing. West Ham is now a very tough place for teams to go and Spurs has been a pretty tough place to go for us recently. Same with Stoke.

I don't think our form against smaller sides has any bearing on how we will perform against the bigger and tougher sides. Football is not so linear
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It does actually have quite a lot to do with that actually. if we go to places and play so openly that teams like Leicester can open us up at will then obviously it's gonna be a field day for teams like City and Arsenal.

These next few away games are the real test for LVG.

I reckon you'll beat S'hampton away.

#Robb - Fellaini's right foot. (U19350)

Rob, you don't know what you are talking about. Arsenal have been dreadful this season; they will not have a field day. We will match all the bigger sides and I am confident of that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jeez, you are allowed to be objective when talking about United. If you think Arsenal have been dreadful then I really would like you to tell us all how bad United have been. We've been worse than Arsenal and that is a fact. But they have more of a settled team and on their own patch can hurt us. Walcott is back and I fully expect him, Sanchez and Welbeck to test our defence massively.

City will probably put 3 or 4 past us.

Robb, do you not think your overall game is improving though, and don't you expect further improvement?

If you were to play every game like some of your early season games, then ok, but you're looking at a very big time lapse with your fixture list.

S'hampton's over a month away. Villa's a month and a half. Newcastle's in March!

I agree that we're improving! But I just did 10 away games as it's a round number. Looking at just the next 5 away games which take place in the next 2 months it's still a tough set. City, Arsenal, Saints (who I believe will challenge for top 4 this season), Villa and Spurs will all be tough. Villa obviously the easiest of the lot but id be stunned if we got any more than 6 points from those 5 games.

I think you will do better against the big teams away from home. The difference in those games than against leicester for example is that you are still the favourite in the latter. You were exposed to the counter attack due to playing a high line and your fullbacks providing the width.

Against the better teams, you will naturally sit deeper and your defence has a bit more natural protection due to that position. You look a lot better to me playing when you have space to exploit rather than trying to break a team down.

Similar to holland at the World Cup to be honest, they looked a lot better against teams that attacked them rather than say back.

Not sure why you keep pretending to be a United fan Robb.

This is clear evidence you are a g o on.

Melts

I actually think we can get a result against you boys. You can certainly be got at.

Robb actually wants United to fail, so that in his warped mind he can be proved right about Moyes.

-------------------------------------------
What your attack can do is pretty much pointless because your defence will concede goals. Whenever hazard or Drogba go the ball in advanced position against your lot there was panic and either Rojo or Smalling making a rash pass to the opposition.

City wont let back like Chelsea did and City are better than chelsea going forward so all thjose misplaced passes and mistakes at the back, instead of Drogba and a far from clinical Hazard you will have Ah=guero, Jovetic, Silva and yaya on the edge of your box.

Football is a funny game but you will almost certainly lose to City.

I cant believe the bookies are offering 8/10 for that game.

You cant however get a point against our lot and will lose to the saints

Re S'hampton, Robb, I very much doubt they'll be in the mix for anything more than a Europa League spot come the end of the season. Barely 1/4 of the game have been played so far.

Bear in mind that their squad depth really hasn't been tested yet. They've been virtually injury-free since the start of the season while all the sides who are likely to be challenging for the CL have had their fair share of having to chop and change due to men out, and even so are just 2 games in arrears, tops.

VC, come clean. You only exist on here to be nasty to people. You are boring.

I'm being objective. Something you can't seem to comprehend.

Let me spell this out to you.

I don't think we'll beat City, Arsenal or Saints. They have all been better than us this season. Our away form has been poor. The end. Nothing to do with Moyes.

Possibly. But what they do have is a stronger squad than last year and some real quality in there. They also have a manager who is experienced in winning titles in another league so he can help the players believe they are capable of getting points off the bigger teams.

I'd be shocked if Saints finished outside the top 6 this season with a quarter of the season almost gone and with the defence they have.
