Loyal Spurs fans predictions here here...

Devonshirespur: I agree. The OS has potential which most other grounds don't, including Spurs' proposed new one.
And Levy wasn't being totally honest in that he had the ulterior motive of trying to get funding for WHL.

But what I don't understand is why has Boris Johnson given in to him? It's pretty certain that the judicial review would have again been lost. That surely would have left Levy in a weak position as he would then have had to stay at WHL.

Also, what are the chances that the govt itself - as opposed to Boris Johnson - will agree to these funds? Is it possible that Levy, having given up on the OS, then finds that the govt will not provide the funding?

Myhammers.

You will need extra transport links for the OS, to and from the pitch from the stands so the four thousand of you that turn up to watch your league 1 matches can actually take turns to see the action

Smegspur

Did you notice your tickets for City game are on general sale.

Levy is a super super clever man. I know a few people who did accouancy qualifications with him...

The prob is we (myself included) want success and marquee signings - and he runs the club propally.

Ha ha WTF now?

1039 FOOTBALL: BBC Sport's Dan Roan on Twitter: "Latest round of Spurs' & Orient's High Court fight v decision to award Olympic stadium to West Ham goes ahead despite last-minute talks."

Apparently, Tottenham are going ahead with the judicial review after all:

What else we can do to stop them paying legal costs to Newham and OLPC..

Keep feeding the Solicitors..

Maybe dishonest Dan wants WHL funding AND the Olympic Stadium!

Did Sith Levy use the force on BoJo?

I don't know why many Spurs fans like him. Look at the Modric saga, now the OS embarrassment in the courts.

He's letting down the Spurs.

I agree. I wish we had a Chairman that brought in players like Benni McCarthy, Dyer & Spector, put us in enormous debt & got us relegated into the Long Ball League. Now that is a real Chairman.

Boris Johnson: "...when hell freezes over!".

Oh..look Chicken running around Admin(s), when I pointed out they were not brought by G&S.

Again MafiaBoy, i'm agreeing with you. I would much rather be playing Hoof Ball in the lower leagues & be in £100m debt than my Chairman try & keep our best players to challenge the best teams in the country.

Aren't Spurs in 70 million debt?

I am happy to see West Ham playing in front of 60,000 fans in two years time, which is a dream for Spurs.

posted on 24/8/11

I've got a sneaky feeling the admins are Spurs fans.
The number of times they delete comments from other fans on the Tottenham boards.

Either that, or Tottenham fans can only dish it out but can't take it, and are the worst when it comes to running to the admins.

West Ham couldnt even get 26,000 in their opening match against Cardiff.

I'm not sure where the 130% extra fan base is going to come from.

Wakey wakey Mafia, your is getting cold.

Chicken

you are boring with your bold predictions about attendances. i would like to point you out that tickets for your league games are available on general sale. imagine if you are playing in championship you wouldn't attract more than 15k per match.

How many fans you took to the OT, the other day?

MafiaBoy,

you are boring with your bold predictions about attendances

=========================

It wasn't a prediction. If anything, i was being kind. The actual gate was just 25,680 against Cardiff - not 26,000.

And in order to get 60,000 fans, West Ham would need to attract an extra 130% of fans to get from this figure to YOUR predicted 60,000.

Its basic maths my friend, not a "bold prediction". Your comment was a prediction, mine was factual.

The fact is, West Ham are at a low point. We have not won anything for ages, we are usually involved in relegation, we sell our best players etc.

Tottenham are on a high. They attract top class players and perform well on the pitch. They, unlike West Ham, are a successful club.

Yet, our average attendances are similar. So imagine what it would be like if our fortunes were reversed.

Like Mafiaboy says, you can't even sell your full allocation for your first game away to the champions. How many loyal Tottenham fans would turn up if you were in the Championship?

Tottenham can only stay at that level or, as is more likely, get worse. West Ham can only get better.

Are you seriously comparing a Monday night game up north, to a home weekend game?

Lets see how many West Hams turn up tonight, for tenner a ticket.
