you should be a promoter. I'm going to buy this event on PPV now.
It is a great undercard.
Two noisey average Joes' topping the bill was stretching the credibility of this Matchroom PPV.
Yet the undercard has rescued it, featuring a collection of fighters all far more talented than the two headliners.
Yeah it's a good card.
Like you say, the main event is a bit weak on it's own and it needed a good undercard.
There's enough in each of the fights to interest me and you have to say that overall you can see it as a decent night of boxing.
Although if Joshua doesn't step up after this he needs a slap
on the wind up? it's one of the worst PPV cards I've seen in a while.
Barring a couple of fights, they're all mismatches.
I look forward to every domestic showdown now being on PPV as a world title eliminator
You really are a tool if you think this card is PPV worthy and splash 15 quid on it.
Hmmm, so being able to "splash" £15 on a sat night makes you "minted". Righto then.
All of the British fighters on the bill are big names domestically. Boxing snobbery on this site strikes again.
Big names domestically but the e opposition is poor not worth PPV although I will prob get it anyway
Smith's opposition is better than him on paper.
I agree the rest of the domestic fighters are all expected to win their fights, but they're not fighting bums (Joshua aside)
Otake and Douglin are bums
Lol hearn is getting major stick for putting this card on ppv. It could have just been on sky. There's no clamour for this fight from the casuals.
Frank warrens card looks decent too.
Splashing 15 quid = being minted. Mug.
On paper is irrelevant, Callum Smith is a special talent and is already a top 10 super middleweight. Groves, Quigg, McDonnell, Joshua all fighting bums. Degale's fighting Periban who even when he was in his prime, wasn't very good.
Bellew and Cleverly is interesting but are both average.
Frank Warren's card on the 29th is a proper boxing bill. 3 great, competitive fights. That alongside Khan's card in December are the only 2 decent nights of boxing left this year.
Bradley fight is on the 13th aswell which is also a good card
The HBO card on December 13th is class as well. I will watch the Showtime card live that night, then the HBO the next day
Mirpur is spot on. The undercard is pretty horrific.
Sky will make out that Quigg and McDonnell will put their world titles on the line, however in truth they are not actually the official world champions. The WBA has a super champion which they are not. They are the next best which is a glorified silver title.
Carl Frampton said same thing to Quigg. He is the proper world champion.
What IS THE bRADLEY UNDECARD?
Bradley vs Chaves
Herrera vs Benavidez (can't wait for this one!)
Korobov vs Lee
The only good thing about this card is that we have 4 fighters who absolutely hate each other. Ironically the Groves Degale unferflow is simmering rather subtly and if both win, then noises will be made for another British dust up.
As for the 2 topping the bill, THE ONLY way this Bellew vs Clev is for Bellew to win after a war and set up a credible rematch.
The boxing Gods may know what they're doing! Shame Kell decided to annoy some probative because we could have mulled over him and Khan squaring off.
Well this is the only thread regarding Cleverly Bellew II
This will be a great night of boxing.
The undercard looks fantastic.
Hopefully the fight night lives up to the hype.
there will be a fight thread up on saturday
Come on cleverly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
