His wife had the final say so London it was.
Who cares why? It's a childish debate. All that matters is who he plays for.
He probably didn't realise just how crap Arsenal are, but held some pre-conceived notion that under Wenger we played good football.
And likely he had no idea who Brendan Rodgers was, nor understood a word of what he was saying as Brendan grew teary-eyed talking about the lofty mystique that surrounds LFC.

Liverpool have been crap for almost 10 years, 1 season wonder as being proved this season, gone backwards. Why would Sanchez turn down Arsenal for Liverpool? History aside what have Liverpool done recently or won to claim to be a more attractive club than Arsenal?
Ahb... Long time. Hope all is well..

Yeah maybe, but if Sanchez had picked Liverpool over us both our prospects for the season might be very different, no? As it is he picked us and he'll probably be the difference between us and them.
Mr C, what's da story lad?
He choose Arsenal because they offered him the most money, it`s what all players do. If Accrington had offered more he would be playing for them. Not rocket science really.
if the truth is known he slipped underneath the radar of the oil money clubs where he could earn more money and win more silverware -
---------- cant think of any other reason why he would of joined us --

Wages are commensurate to the transfer fee. If Liverpool were willing to match Arsenal's offer they would have matched wages also.
The reason why he chose Arsenal is because Arsenal and Barcelona have a long standing relationship that goes back years to Petit, Overmars etc. Barca players know that Arsenal are probably the only team that play the same type of football. Liverpool played a devastating counter attack game last year. But thats not the same.
Football, the manager, its easier to settle in London all contributed to why he chose Arsenal.
