Jascot - I hope you are right but I don't really share your unbridled optimism. Many players on both sides will experience this game for the first time and the match is 3 months away (a lot can happen). Rangers have shown that on their day they are capable of beating 2 different Premiership sides.
If we play the match but NOT the occasion we SHOULD be ok, but you can never be sure. The Hearts game I agree was, in the end, comfortable but there was a sitter and a penalty missed by them at 1-0
Can see and have thought on both points you make lads. Regards how many of our side have not experienced the game Steve could actually be a plus. It will just be fitba they are thinking about and if it is simply such then the current Rangers cant live with us even if not firing on all all cylinders.
Know what your saying also Mick but being up for it only takes you so far and as things stand at present the gap in quality is marked.
Said when it was still a what if the ref is going to have a huge bearing on the outcome and so as to put to bed any divergence into bias , I am simply reffering to if he gets caught up in its anOF final and I will let that go to the point of allowing it to develop into a kickfest then the gap inquality will be reduced significantly that said our side are pretty robust but honestly hope it doesent come to such.
Aye Donald really drop a grenade there
Mick Sorry you couldn't make it yesterday - next time hopefully
Jascot - so many things can (and do) happen to change the dynamic of such a match - FFS we have 3 months of this to live through
Aye bit of negative Steve as if played tommorow its a no brainer IMO. The real wildcard is NU and who they might send up the road. Was interesting to read an article covering such and the SFA restrictions concering loans. Not in the know as to what extent the system has already been used by Rangers this season so may not actually be an issue but if they are able to go down that route in numbers it could well put a different spin on things
Charlie - Jan 31st and Feb 1st
