Might be a game too soon for Carrick though. LvG might stick to his new philosophy of needing power in the PL and stick with Fellaini.

Fellaini is a certain starter. Best player against Chelsea and now LVG sees his talent.

Could have another Hargreaves on our hands with this one. If it's true we're going to make the deal permanent in Jan I think that's a ridiculous move. If Falcao doesn't play 20-25 games this season we shouldn't be forking out c. £50m on him!

Not a chance Carrick will make his return in this game, we cant afford any passengers today and there is no reason to drop Fellaini after his last 2 appearances.

Can't see Fellaini not playing after his two previous performances. Don't think Cartick will start yet.

To be fair he is not out with a knee injury which is good news and having watched him nearly every week when he was in Spain I think £50m is a bargain, the guy is one of the best natural finishers I've ever seen.

What a difference a couple of games make. I too would prefer Fellaini. He needs to redeem himself against Yaya.

If we get Falcao back to his Atletico performance level I will be delighted. I wish we'd signed him 4 years ago! Then again, I was one of those who wanted us to keep Tevez.

With regards to Pelegrini having done this before I have no idea. It's possible. Silva would make a huge difference!

Yaya will be the deciding factor, again. If he continue his slump, we have a chance. If he decide to turn up and turn it on results will only go one way

Silva is the best player in the league for me, id rather he was out than Yaya or Aguero tbh, massive boost for us. We won't get a better chance to beat city at their ground for a while. Starting to become optimistic

Personally I think Di Maria, Hazard and Sanchez are better but Silva is a top player. He also loves playing United. He picks our defence apart every time. I was hoping Mata would become our Silva
