You're saying Pearce should walk if we lose the next two games? It's hard to take anything else you say seriously really.

I'm not saying Pearce should walk. I'm saying that it is quite possible that he will.

He is an honourable man and if he honestly doesn't feel that he can turn things round he will go.

I just hope we don't reach that stage. Sa to say but even a point on Wednesday will be a dramatic improvement on what we are seeing at the moment.

I watched Norwich on Friday against Bolton and they are good going forward but give you a chance at the back.

The Forest team from September would exploit that defence but if we play like we have the last 2 games we are going to get a kicking.

Lets hope for some improvement and a large slice of luck on Wednesday.

I think people need to calm down and realise that the season is 46 games. Plenty of time to get things working properly. Yes Reid is a miss but isn't the be all and end all. Plenty of others with decent reps at this level who should be picking up the slack. Vaughan has had a few games to get back up to speed and needs to start commanding games from now on just like Reid can.

Don't place too much on how manager's talk in their interviews either. People seem to expect stirring speeches whenever Pearce is interviewed and pick him to pieces when he just offers an honest opinion. IMO talk is cheap. Think we would have learnt from the previous manager that it is all about walking the walk.

Pearce will get it right and prove a lot of doubters wrong. It may take until the new year but I wouldn't be panicking. Remember Reading winning the play offs after being in the bottom four at the turn of the year?...

Well said, Will. All these people talking of walking, or being under pressure. Jesus.

I've got a feeling in me bones that we may get a surprise 3/4-0 win v Brentford. The team may just get it right and tear them apart.

If the question is "Who Ate All The Pies?" then the answer is yes.

If we reversed our season's form so far so that we had started the season in the form we are in currently and we were now showing the form we had in August everyone would be happy.

I think other teams have worked us out to some extent but we do have the players and we may need to be a bit more imaginative tactically. But for me the main problem is confidence; and the only solution is to tough it out. Stick with our principles, and wait for a win to come. There is no predicting when that win will come and it is quite likely to be the result of a fluke: a ridiculous own goal, an outrageous ref decision, or some other event out of our control.

I don't think we need to be desperate to bring in new faces although a LB and a captain would be good. What we have is good enough to get us out of this rut, we just have to be patient for a little while longer.

Got to agree with that. Need to pick a left back and stick with them. For me, Harding has played better than Fox this season so would be my choice. Maybe need to revisit Mancienne as captain if that isn't working out but do we put too much emphasis on captaincy? Other player should have the pride and self motivation to perform in every game as well as they can. Do they need someone constantly kicking them around get them going?

I've just got a feeling that Forest are dangerous as a wounded animal at the moment and they will catch someone cold and beat them convincingly.

We've lost three games and aren't even a 1/3 of the way through the season and people have got their fingers hovering over the panic button already. Predictable reaction. Pearce will sort it. Hopefully in the next couple of home games but if not then stick with it. For people to say Pearce isn't this or that this early into his tenure need to reserve judgement. Obviously we aren't playing well at the minute but we are in probably the most competitive league in the country, if not Europe so we weren't ever gonna stroll it. Three defeats and people are talking about Pearce walking. The bloke spent 12 years here busting his gut for the club so show him a bit of respect. Even if we lose on Wednesday, which I don't think we will its still too early in the season to start thinking about rash changes. The only think I would say is that rotating the players for the Spurs cup game was a bad decision. We've hardly picked up a point since then.

I'd go with Harding too. He ain't that great it's just that Fox's errors seem to be more costly.

We could quite easily give someone a thumping with Antonio and Britt in the team; if they both catch fire the same game someone had better take cover.

I can't see it coming right on Wednesday to be honest. For them to come from behind to beat the sheep is impressive. We'll need to really be together against them to get anything.

But as I say when we will turn it around is impossible to predict

Could Andy Reid be the answer?

If the question is "Who is the fat bloke in the red shirt?" then possibly.

Derby have been very inconsistent too since hitting top spot so Brentford's win wasn't that much of a surprise. Reports on the Bees state that they are a bit susceptible to pace so maybe Assombalonga and Antonio will get some change from them.

Mani, spot on. Look at the teams who have stuck by a manager who appeared to be struggling. Big Sam at WHU springs straight to mind.

It is the most competetive league and is very unforgiving. It also lasts for aeons so there is plenty of time for Pearce to pick the players up and galvanise things.

If the question was fat and a cheating cry-baby then the answer is yes.
