Can everyone please F off with the reactionary articles. We were awful for the last 30. But don't start laying into each and every individual when it was the fact the collective let us down. Yet again. Ramsey was poor, but just leave it.

His form last season has really got to his head.

The Hollywood passes and flicks are killing his game.

He loses the ball, provides zero protection and has just forgotten about all the basics of what made him the player he was last season

It not reactionary. Bar the burnley game the team has been pi$$ poor and Rambo has been terrible.

The guy's forgetting what made him. He's pretty much playing as a striker and forgetting his midfield duties.

When he was playing like a spast.ic before, I would support him because he worked very hard and was hungry. Now he plays with an arrogance and doesn't do much defensive work.

I don't actually think he's any worse than a lot of the team at the moment, in terms of ball retention we're absolutely woeful at times. However, I do agree that he's become something a "me first" player. Not in a malicious way, but in a way that hurts the whole as he's become bogged down with the idea that his game is defined merely by goals.

OP let me just say this is not your finest moment.

Think the plaudits he received last season have definitely gone to his head.

Where's the workhorse we saw last season, up and down the pitch for 90 minutes flat? This is the core of his game and he's forgotten it.

Just stands around now and tries to play like Messi.

"What was the hype about this player. I just don't see it; not even when he enjoyed the purple patch last season."

Ramsey is playing poorly, but this is a very ridiculous comment. Let's not revise history just to lay into a player. Ramsey was excellent for us last season, and his December injury was a massive blow to us. Calm yourself and lay off the hysterics.

Now write "Wenger, FACK OFF" and you may be onto something.

I have watched him closely Sheriff. He lacks the technique of a top player. He take split- steps running with the ball, shoots in an awkward manner and lacks any smoothness to his work.
It's no wonder that as soon as he not putting out his main asset(his good engine), he stands out like a sore thumb.
Just my honest opinion.

"Or does Wenger just give these guys that much freedom on the pitch?"
===========================================
Bingo. Do what you like. Wenger has unwavering trust that footballers are intelligent enough specimen to figure it out for themselves. He still thinks he's coaching Vieira, Henry, Pires and Bergkamp. Completely clueless.

That is actually true. Ramsey needs to keep it simple and complicating everything.

Ramsey has gotten back to being too flash with his play, flick ons roll ons, back heels, cut it out mate! Just take a touch

Technique is overrated. Ramsey got 16 goals in an injury-hit season last year. With no penalties. And 3 months out. And got double figure assists. And had among the best defensive stats. Lampard and Gerrard aren't smooth technicians either but were great players.

You're massively overreacting and articles like this make rival fans ridicule us.

He is overreacting, but who gives even half a a shít what small minded opposition fans think? Especially when it's based on a minority judgement? Just don't see how that part was at all relevant.
