Bony could have a good time playing against Monreal

Really hope it's Sanchez and Chamberlain down the flanks - Cazorla slows our play too much out-wide.

Either way, I'm very worried about what the pace of their front-three could do to us.

Spurs could still get something from the game. It's 2-1 now.

We can't afford to settle for a draw. We shouldn't be affording to settle for keeping pace with the other also rans. We need all 3 points to seperate ourselves from the likes of Utd and Pool and establish ourselves as Chelsea's biggest rivals

Why do we keep playing Monreal at CB when Chambers can play there alot more effectively and Bellerin, though young is a RB? Surely Bellerin Merte Chambers Gibbs is the stronger of the two options

It's so hard to know what to expect from this arsenal team. Just depends if our team remember to defend or not. We'll score, just hard to predict how many stupid defensive mistakes we'll make. Saying that, as it stands we've conceded one less than city, and equal amount as chelsea! I think we could have joint second best defence, if we put 2 past Swansea without conceding!

We all laughed when Bony was linked with Spurs and Liverpool, and with good reason - He is overrated

Yeah not saying he's great. Just that he's the sort of player that could give Monreal a lot of trouble. He'll be well up for his chances.

Oh sweet jesus, Monreal is CB again. Wenger has to be the most stubborn plank on the planet. It doesn't matter if we win today and Monreal is man of the match and scores 4 goals from his own half, it is still wrong to play him there. Just play Chambers CB ffs and give Bellerin a go who Wenger was bigging up after Debuchy got injured. So sick of this fúcking square pegs in round holes bollócks, just play players in their actual positions.

That's sas so much about how badly everyone's playing. WE have the 2nd or 3rd best defensive record in the league with this shambles going on.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Really shows how defending standard has dropped. Our defence is awful yet we could have the 3rd or 2nd best in the league! Southampton only team who look like they know how to defend! Only conceded 5 goals!

You'd think Monreal would be more comfortable covering RB than CB. If wenger really wants Monreal, probably for experience, could he not go RB and chambers CB?
He really must not trust bellerin, and chambers at CB, don't know why. Can't see how Monreal is a better option

The thing is, we hear all this talk about how AW supposedly gives his players the freedom to tactically run games. So why don't they. Why not just switch for themselves? Monreal surely knows that Chambers does a better job at CB than he can.
