What is the file you are trying to uninstall and what is the message that comes up?

Best bit of software I ever bought, and worth every penny, is Norton 360 - I would recommend getting it if you don't have something already

I'm trying to uninstall Free Opener - EX Freeware.


Been on my comp ages, but it started going slow so I started deleting stuff but this message appeared when trying to delete the free opener:

c:\Programfiles\free opener\.unis000.dat does not exist.

The help link at the bottom of the page, when I try to open it (on the control panel screen) it says "couldn't load XPCOM"

yeah briefly on Friday.

it said something about <regedit> and some other stuff.

Looked mighty complicated so I left it.

Don't want to balls it up any more than it already is.

Yeah regedit is probably best bet... just follow the instructions very closely. Maybe get someone more techy minded to follow the instructions...
