Replacing Ronaldo with Valencia was the equivalent of replacing Fergie with Moyes.
Valencia was excellent in his first season I thought, progressively got worse though and isn't very good now, not sure what happened to him to be honest. Definitely a confidence a player, and his confidence is shot.
Valencia turned shít since Fergie dropped him in the Manc derby in 2012. Since then he has been so so poor.
Should have tried to get Robben and money in return for Ronaldo.
Ronaldo could never be replaced but we could have tried a lot harder than Valencia.
Us or Liverpool.
We spent £80m net and look worse. We have an unbalenced squad with quantity of forwards and minimal defenders. We're worse defensively and don't look any better going forward.
The scousers have lost their main man and replaced him with average players.
We're probably the bigger flop tbh.
This has probably all been said though.
Arsenal. By quite some distance.
Definitely Arsenal - they're almost intentionally handicapping themselves with awful choices, on and off field.
At least the likes of Spurs, Everton, Pool and Man City are TRYING and failing at the moment.
Arsenal fans go through the same thing year after year and put up with wingers capitulations his incredible wage and ridiculous ticket prices without ever doing anything about it.
They are sheeple
I think you could cut Wenger some slack until the last couple of years.
He wasn't spending a fortune and was keeping them competitive on a tight budget, at least on transfer fees.
He doesn't have that excuse any more though and they are not getting any better despite having the cash and the pull to buy £40m players.
They are arguably getting worse which is a sackable offence.
Pretty much all our thoughts there, righteous.
Make or break season for Wenger.
I thought it was an absolute crying shame we didn't get Sanchez in the summer. He would have improved Liverpool more than he has improved Arsenal.

Real Sociedad. Awful start to the season and they've just gone and signed Moyes.
I can only speak for myself here but I'm not too disgruntled. We've had a bad patch and the injury to Studge has nailed us but it's avery young squad and in Moreno, Sterling, Coutinho, Can, Henderson and Sturridge there is a great deal of hope for the future. My main grumble is that we spent well over £100m and yet been undone by one injury - that's poor management. The defence is improving from open play though and I reckon we will sort the set pieces in time.
Spurs just seem to lack a bit of quality and to go from the likes of VdV, Modric and Bale to Capoue, Erikksen and Chadli is never going to work out well.
Arsenal are a funny one and should probably be the most disgruntled just because of the promises and yet lack of change. Ticket prices don't help but as someone said earleir they're above us all.
Utd are having a shocker but due to the failings of the others could well get away with it. Big game for them up next.
City will be fine.
liverpool for me not that you couldnt see it coming with the loss of suarez and a spurs like shopping spree incredibly topped of with.....ballotelli.... ..
