Yep. That same guy.
The Sunderland defender Vergini who scored that crazy own goal has also been called up.
at Argentina.
Certain If he gets on the pitch?
Bentaleb sad but true pal
Have not been impressed with Fazio so far, slow, ponderous, clumsy and a bit of a carthorse tbf
I think its more Fazio looking worse than he is because Kaboul is so shocking!!
The first goal Stoke scored was more down to Kaboul, if you look at the replay Fazio was marking his man and Kaboul was just backing off and backing off
Take Fazio and dump in another team he would be a world beater and our fans would claim they always rated him blah..blah..Put in in a Spurs short and he becomes a quivering wreck..almost as comical with Sol campbell with the ball at his feet crossing the half way line.. I see less shakes during strictly!!
First goal v Stoke, both CMs ended up in Stoke's half AFTER we lost the ball.
Free run at the back four.

Yep and as he was running at the back four Fazio marked his man who made a run and Kaboul done fack all.
I think Fazio will come good but I've said that about a lot of our signings recently
Not the best but sometimes you have to just back off until you get numbers back. If he'd dived in and got mugged he'd be ruined for that, and rightly so. It was a good hit, hard to stop. Sold down the river by the midfield though.
Their second was bad from Kab though, out far too early and let his man get a march on him

You have to expect him to be a little bit clumsy for a big man but what worries me is he is a ball watcher and gets drawn out of position very easily, like a moth to a light. I was also alarmed vs Tropolis (sp?) when they had a break a way the attacker fakes to shoot left footed and sold Fazio the dummy SOOOO easily, it was predictable from the striker but Fazio fell for it and could not get get anywhere near the bog average striker, lucky for us he blazed it high and wide from 8 yards.
He is great from crosses (normally) well positioned and wins the headers as you'd expect but when players are running at us he look very shaky

Big man like him needs a sweeping partner. Let him attack the ball and the other mop up.
Until we sort the side out I can't judge him too harshly
Why are we all judging Fazio after just a handful of games, give the guy a break, he needs at least a full season, as do all our new signings.
Last year`s signings should have bedded in by now, and clearly some have not, but you cannot expect all signings to be a hit. There will always be failures at all clubs.

Yay Fazio's a work beater
Who is he?
Bentaleb
He has played a handful of games in a side which has been largely sheiite whoever plays.
He at be the next Rocha for all I know. Until I see him play a bit more I will reserve judgment. So far, it's not too good.
