Interesting thing is 50% of that list are La Liga rejects.

1) Sergio Aguero - Atletico Madrid
2) Yaya Toure - Barcelona
3) Alexis Sanchez - Barcelona
4) Edin Hazard - Lille (Odd one out)
5) Angel Di Maria - Real Madrid
6) David Silva - Valencia
7) Cesc Fabregas - Barcelona
8) Radamel Falcao - Atletico Madrid (via Monaco)
9) Diego Costa - Atletico Madrid
10) Mesut Ozil - Real Madrid

9 of these 10 players did it in La Liga first.

Just goes to show, the PL can and does pluck some talent from Spain.

While Spain seem to have only taken Ronaldo and Bale (and briefly Cesc).

I agree with RAP (or whatever he's calling himself nowadays). As much as I rate Ozil, he shouldn't be on the top 10. He has to earn it and so far he's failed to live up to his world class tag. Same for Falcao.

I would include Ramsey as he has been in sublime form for last year, even though this year he has looked off.

Is Radamel Falcao there on reputation only?

Yes. And a reputation based on his time at A. Madrid, some 2 seasons ago.

All of the best players in the PL are physical and British. Those players you have listed may have done fine in La Liga, but the PL is another pot of kettle all together and they would just get blown away by the physicality.

I think Terry deserves to be in the list as the best CB in the league. had a lull of around a year or 2 at most but other than that has been consistently top drawer for over 10 years.

Aguero is unbelievable, does he have a claim as the best player in the league right now?

And is RVP and Roon no longer considered a top 10 player?

If you don't put Rooney and RvP in your top 5 your a full. Not their fault they are playing with poor players and a poor manager.

Why leave defenders out of this? Unless you mean to compile a list of just midfielders and strikers

Wow..I love these top 10's, you guys really know your stuff when it comes to football

A nonsensical post.

Firstly... Aguero, Costa and Falcao are hardly rejects they were bought because they were the best players in their teams, Most effective at least.

Secondly... Ozil in the top 10 is a WUM at best on current form he probably isn't even in the top 10 Arsenal players he has been utter garbage, The midfield version of Torres.

Thirdly... IMO Sanchez is the best in the league with Aguero not far behind either.

Sturridge has been underrated in this league ,he is a player that has tons of ability. If you look at his speed ,sharpness and skill plus the different types of goals he scores....he can go as far as he wants to. I rate him up there in terms of best players in the league.

^^ I agree. Sturridge is made of glass so he will most likely not fulfil his potential. But it is clear he has serious talent.

I wonder why Chelsea fans are starting to overate Sanchez. He has weaknesses to his game which he must still eradicate especially his passing. He is a marvelous player.

No chance. A great striker. One of the best in the league. But not one of the best players.
Like a lineker type for instance. Not great all round but a good striker.

His passing, hold up play, aerial abilities are non existent.he's too selfish(good for a striker) and still misses hatful of chances. Plus injuries etc.
He's lightning quick, and makes good runs. And can put the ball in the net given enough chances.

Where is RVP? as much as i hate the for what he did in the last 2 seasons he has been the best striker in the league and one of the best (i think only Ronaldo and Messi scored more) in 2011-12 season......
