I'd be gutted if we were to lose DDG who is for me1 of the best 3 keepers about along with neur and courtious.
If he was to move if I'd like us to move for Cech
I'd also be gutted but there seems to be some very good keepers around at the moment
Valdes has always been underrated - never as bad as people made him out to be. At his best I dont think there was much between him and Casillas at all, but for some reason one was considered the best keeper in the world and the other was mocked (at least in England)
Having said that, no, this would be a bad move. His style isnt suited to this league at all - he'd be bullied week in week out.
I'd be devastated (as far as football goes) if De Gea were to leave any time soon. He's a fantastic keeper and a player I really like.
There are just some players we've had at the club that I love, whatever they do, for some reason! I'll get slated but DDG is one of them along with Ronaldo (obviously), Rafa, Nani, Ando, Welbz and Chicha
Like most I dont want to lose De Gea, but when I have seen Valdez in the last couple of years I've always thought he looks fantastic.
So quick of his line, even better Neuer in that respect, which is the one thing we miss in De Gea.
As I said I'd rather keep de Gea.
why would he not go to Real, Could see De Gea leaving and becoming one of the best goalies around. Theres not much we can do if he refuses to sign a new contract, other than sell him and try and get as much money as possible.
Well he's said numerous times this month he's very happy here and wants to stay for many years, so I'll go off his words rather than the nonsense rumours in the papers

Honestly, I would straight swap Cech for De Gea in a heartbeat. Maybe with Valdes I wouldn't be as certain, but we need some experience at the back and, as good as De Gea is, he isn't quite up to the level that certain sections of the media build him up to.

did he tell you this personally, Mex, or did you read it in the papers?
No I heard him say it in an interview on mutv
Well he wouldn't say, im not signing a new contract because I want to go to real Madrid or Barca would he
The weird thing about DDG is that he is a very good goalkeeper but like most GK's, we wouldn't really miss him if had a solid defence.
So we've decided he's definitely leaving then have we? Ok, then I think we should sign Buffon, his contracts up at the end of the season
