Halfy, when you spend your life behind the speakers of your radio all your life, what would you expect?

I've heard of Radio Ga ga, but Herbie seems to be radio Blah, blah.

All joking aside, I thought England deserved the win and a much better performance. Wilshire probably had his best game and I'm liking Smalling at the back with Cahill.
Our FB's played well and we seem to have a lot of pace throughout the side.

I still cannot believe how terrible Scotland really are. Their best eleven are no better than League One / Championship standard.

This was the biggest game of their careers to date - banging on about it for weeks in the Scottish media - and that is the best they can do?

Frighteningly, the Scottish media is saying how proud they are of their performance

I blame Wardy.

Don't believe any of the media hype for a start unc, this wasn't even Scotlands biggest game this week.

Scottish football has already hit rock bottom, this team despite not being great is on the way up in relative terms, the future is actually brighter than it has been for a long time and a play off for the euro's is for once more than just a pipe dream, a friendly loss to England hasn't changed anything.

As for the squad, just take a look, Darren Fletcher is the biggest star, an injury plagued 30 year old, the next best in club terms is Steven Naismith, and from there its a journeyman trip around the likes of WBA, Blackburn, Forest, Derby, Hull and Brighton.

And of course, lets not mention the guys at Celtic, a team that has about 10 competitive games a season.

It is a miracle Scotland performs as well as it does, show me another side of our level that have beaten France(twice), Holland and Croatia(twice), and drawn with Germany and the Italians in recent times in competitive games?

The Jocks must now bow to their mighty English overlords and doff their caps whenever an Englishman crosses their path, cheeky young upstarts!
In fact, let's go the whole hog and not build any motorways up there, nor let any of the money from London and the big cities trickle down to them...oh wait a minute,we did that already!

In other news, Whelan has taken a massive risk on Mackay - if the FA find him guilty, Whelan will take another look at it.

In other words, despite Mackay admitting his guilt, oh I can't be bothered.

Where is that Scotland? I thought you were talking about the Scotland that has a GDP of around $245 billion compared to the English GDP of $2.7 trillion.

Where’s this new one you’ve found?

Don't shoot the messenger, just going by the official organization who post those numbers, and no, not the SNP.

Scotland is richer, per capita, than the UK, a fact the independence campaigners love to champion. Its access to oil pushes its GDP per person to 115% of the UK's, according to the Scottish government, making it the world's 14th richest country. The UK ranks at number 18.

According to how much oil they may or may not own,as England and Holland own considerable real estate in North Sea Oil?
Also according to how much oil lies below the seabed, another estimate akin to throwing darts into a board blindfold?
Right you are!

The fact remains, anyone knocking or mocking Scotland's part in the UK is a complete and utter imbecile of the highest order

You may have noticed the desperate scramble the MPs made trying to retain the UK, there is a reason for that.
