id expect a player in the best team in the league to find his team mates more often simply because he has better movement ahead of him, not to mention Monaco's attacks are focused on accuracy where as Leicester's are a bit more go for broke see if you can get Vardy down the side of his marker.

whenever I've watched Ndidi he looks more promising than Bakayoko who to me looks like an average version of Matic. Would rather mine, but I'm sure we'll see them both in the PL next season.

I think the Leicester ones are pretty good at finding midfielders.

Just dont see anything more than a good destroyer in Bakayoko and dont need that tbh when i have 3 CBs, rather have someone that can contribute well at both ends.

Ridiculous to suggest Makelele couldn't do anything but a DM's job, pretty much every team mate he's ever had has said he had the best passing range in the team, Bakayoko will never ever be anywhere near as good or even the same type of player. Ndidi far closer to him than Bakayoko imo

Nah you're just being defensive of your player which is understandable, pretty sure my teams have shown that i dont just value players with a pretty touch, but id rather have midfielders who can control games with tackling and then distribution, like Makelele, Busquets or even out of the younger ones Fabinho and to an extent Casemiro in terms of his ability to win the ball and always find the forwards or the runs of Kroos and Modric/Isco. Something that i think Ndidi can develop into but dont see anything more than a destroyer in Bakayoko, which simply isnt what id want from a DM/CM in a 3-4-3 and tbh id value someone who can pick out passes over an all out destroyer in back four formations too. No doubt Bakayoko is good at what he does, he's just limited imo

Which is why using Makelele as an example is silly, I'm not after pretty touches, just someone who can do more than look scary and make tackles then pass the ball sideways to his creative partner.
