Get the axe in December
Whatever happens he will see out the season minimum, and likely until this time next year.
Only situation I can see that being a possibility is if we don't get out our CL group, come 7th or lower and go out the cups early. Even then I think he will get another season.
I agree that from those games we have to be looking at a minimum 9 points to keep us in with slim chances of top 4.
He had us playing some of the best football for ages of any English team last year. He isn't going to gey sacked in December, we have sensible owners these days.
sturridge being back will make a difference despite what the bashers say.
man utd and arsenal look shaky at the back too, a few results and confidence grows. Just look at Newcastle
Metro has an article about BR possibly getting the Axe and you fall for it then
One game at a time. Just need a result against Palace. Anything other than a win will will be disappointing. Palace have only picked up points against Leicester and Burnley at home. If we have any hopes of top 4 we need to win this one.

What's Suarez got to do with anything?
I loved Rafa but I think people are very quickly forgetting our shocking league performances under him at times where we'd play out turgid 0-0 or 1-1 draws and he was criticised for not being open and attacking enough. Now that we have a manager who prioritises attack he gets shot down for the number of goals we concede in the league. As the cliché goes your always a better player when your out of the team and the same can be said about Rafa's managerial reign. His European exploits were legend though no question.
Fact is we were excellent last season and Rodgers deserves another season after this one regardless of what happens in the next 4 games. You cant let a manager and his committee bring in heaps of new names over the summer and not let him get it right with them. We're already seeing the effect its having on Spurs. Its tough times at the moment but back Rodgers and hopefully we can see it through.
Just get behind our manager and team people: nothing else matters. Our manager will not be sacked in the foreseeable future.

Talking about sackings is insane!
Suarez was that good, we have not a found good enough replacement couple that with a really disorganised defense. This season is a test.
But we have had this in his first season and he said we will get better and we subsequently did.
BR adapts well and always learns from mistakes which kn todays world of management seems to be a rare trait. Keep the faith itll get better eventually
FWIW my predictions:
palace - away DRAW
stoke - home WIN
leicester - away DRAW
sunderland - home WIN
8 points is an improvement on our last few games. The away draws should instill confidence within our defence particularly if they're low scoring draws.
BTW BR won't go/be sacked anytime soon. It's not worth even considering. We know he'll turn things around and we'll be firing at all cylinders in a few games. The poor form at the start of the season will soon be forgotten about.

I though there was no committee? Was under the impression that Rodgers wasn't going to take the job if that was the case?
Wrong.
Rodgers didn't want a director of football (which could have been Van Gaal funnily enough).
He signed up to the committee.

I think some of you have a false impression of our owners...they are not a soft touch.
They are investors and they EXPECT a return. Rodgers had wasted a lot of money on transfers and was given the full suarez money in the summer!
Rafa has already started making noises about his family still living in liverpool and he is the one man they could sack rodgers for and still retain the crowds support.
With sturridge being injured again, the pressure just got a lot worse.
