Um what's the score. Lets be honest if Spurs were getting results you wouldn't care about squad collection. That's 6 games with 2 goals conceded stop moaning
*squad selection that should say. Berahino is not ready for this level he was brought in to meet the squad and experience the set up
Of course Berahino should have played a part. Hodgson doing the old fart routine proud. Get the likes of Gary Monk in cold, not poisoned by this lot and let him loose on top quality english players. Never happen though,Southgate it is or pearce or.......boring,like rugby, cricket.
But if he's the top scoring English man, he should at least get some game time. That has just knocked his confidence for six seeing Lambert come on.
What has spurs got to do with England!!!
I'm just making the point that regardless of what is happening on the pitch people moan about England. But if someones club team for example Spurs was getting the kind of results England have been everyone would be raving about them.
Berahino looks a great bet for the future but do you really want his first cap to be in a very physical game we are trying to close out. Lambert helped defend at set pieces, held it up a bit and was a physical presence. Berahino would be much better off playing in a qualifier agaisnt a less physical team
From what I've heard about Berhino's ego, it's probably for the best that he hasn't won a cap yet. He'll still have hd some experience working with the rest of the National team.
I would have given berinho a go but lambert more than justified his appearance in the build up to the goal
tbh I'm happy enough at the lack of any more pointless international breaks until March not to even bther complaining about the s.h1t Woy's England serves up
