Ok. For various reasons that are too complicated to recount, mostly involving women and alcohol, I have missed today's proceedings. However, I surmise from this thread that we won and that we remain top of the league. Fantastic!!!!

I see the dogs match thread garnered 258 comments. That's quite impressive for them.

After manfully staying awake yesterday for the Ramsplayer, following a gruelling journey home which began somewhere near Cirencester at 22.50 on a Friday night involving three trains, a plain, a taxi and a two and a half hour drive,and found me back home around 1pm the following day with no sleep...I wake this morning rested and find that yes, it was no sleep-deprived hallucination, we really are still TOP OF THE LEAGUE! I also see them lot down the road managed to put a measly 3 past Wolves. For shame. Must try harder.

On a completely different topic, I've just read the article about that guy in Normanton who lay undiscovered for four years. Shocking, indeed, but I'm more shocked by the horrendous standard of English, both in quotes from neighbours and comments on the article. It is said that the reason for this tragedy was a lack of communication in the neighbourhood. I imagine communication would benefit from a greater understanding of spelling grammar and comprehension. Just saying...

Good to see we are starting to get goals from outside the box, we always seem terrified to shoot.
