Giroud may be a better finisher, but he doesn't have the ability to stretch teams create opportunities like Welbeck.
With Ox and sanchez running at opposition defenders Giroud is actually more useful than Welbeck.
I feel for the kid because he is snatching at all his chances. He should be eased into this arsenal team.
still needs to do more work on the training ground.
I really can't believe what I am reading here
Giroud is a donkey ffs. Games like these I'd have Welbeck any day of the week. Idiots can't seem to figure out Welbeck is much more useful when teams are playing a high line
All the fickle cants on here drooling over Giroud who they hated a few months ago. Facking sickening. Embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan.
Take away his hatrick against gala Welbeck goal return has been pathetic.

Shocking stuff I agree
It's going to take something special to beat de gea
If we just don't shoot straight at him then we might score

Cant really remember a special save. Just awful shooting.
Probably be a draw now. They will definitely score

All the saves he's had to make bar Ox and Wilshere ones have been tame to say the least.
Everybody raving about De gea, he had to make those saves because of his own inept distribution.
To be honest I can see we will get caught on a counter and going 1 behind first.
Why no Walcott on the bench, did he have a setback?
Welbeck should be scoring goals; I don't care if he chases back or makes an amazing pass--he is a striker, he needs to take his chances. He barely connected on the ball Chamberlain gave him when he dribbled into the box; he couldn't put a free header on target. That is what mediocre players at mid-table teams do. United don't need many chances to score--we all know this. So you score when you get a chance. I'm sorry for being harsh, but I hate losing to United--and the script from the past seems to be playing out once again.

Injured. Muscular problem
Yes he did. If Theo was fit we'd win this easily.
I suppose that's to be expected after so long out
Who on earth is drooling over Giroud? Neither him nor Welbeck are good enough. The latter needs more time though.
Because Walcott has always been the catalyst of United's downfall over the years.
Doesn't matter who we have, they have a mental block over us. It won't be gone until we just put our facking chances away
ramsey shocking again but wenger keeps playing him.
This reminds me of the Spurs game few months ago.
