Have another drink and come back.

I tired to make a case for wenger and then ended up making a case against wenger. I can see why Arsenal fans are divided. It's a strange situation that has no obvious answer, and I don't envy the situation at all.

He's gone down a certain route and finds it hard to back down now, he sees changing as failure and can't take a step back and react to a situation, instead he is ruled by his past experiences so isn't in control. He's proven over years he won't adapt, he'll never win the league with Arsenal and both would be served better if he left imo. Of course that is dependent on a decent replacement, Wenger has taken them backwards in recent years but at least he keeps them treading water and viable. But I think they'll get Pep to be honest, he'll want a new challenge and I can see him in the PL, Arsenal would be a good fit but he'd want a decent set up to take over, i.e CL football or a good war chest.

I agreed with pretty much everything you said up until you said Pep would go to them. Why on earth would he leave BM to start all over again at arsenal? I'm not saying he would never do this, but I certainly can't see why he would leave BM until he's made his mark there, and that will be years from now.

I mean in about 2-3 years when he's won everything with Bayern and wants a new challenge. Wenger has three years left doesn't he?
