Gerrard and Allen are nothing more than ordinary. We are Liverpool ffs. Until we start owning midfield then we will struggle every match.

we are so easy to break on, we should change mf and have "can"in there.

what i notice is we keep the ball do very little yet 1 ball from the oppostion and we are close to conceeding...far too easy for the oppostion

Problem is, it leaves Gerrard exposed and he doesn't protect the defence at all

Every game we've played this season bar Spurs we've played in front of the opposition whereas opposing teams can play in behind us at will. The number of times Bolasie and Gale have walked through our midfield straight at the defence is laughable. Also what on earth were the medical staff playing at for Allens injury that was three times he went off and the goal came from them simply bypassing our midfield. The weather, pitch and general feel factor is all against us at the moment.

its obvious bolasie and gayle are their only threat, cant BR counter that ffs with the players we have??

Also one shot on target says it all really about our attacking threat in the game. Sterling and Coutinho haven't been able to get on to the ball in any sort of dangerous positions and when they do they get dispossessed very easily.

for me gerrard needs help, he gets exposed far to easily; either help him or drop him for someone with younger legs.

Need Can on for either Allen or Gerrard

Puncheon hasn't done too much for us so I'm expecting Zaha to replace him soon. Hopefully he'll cause a bit of havoc

Another disjointed display, can't see how we can change it. Brendan looks frustrated and he has a look as if to say what has happened to us.

No don't get me wrong we have been awful for many weeks now but I'm sure a ripped up pitch and this weather does nothing much to inspire confidence in the players. Also the feel good factor from last season in the team seems to really be missing.

Like I said earlier with a world class forward line we get away with it.. Now we don't have the attacking threat we had and our tactics make defending extremely difficult..

I actually fully believe the tactics are wrong Lovren was a brilliant defender last season and is boss for his country yet struggles for us..

Our tactics defensively expose our defenders put them in one on one type situations far to much and as a result we are really struggling..

Rodgers in my opinion does not manage the team to defend properly and as a result this season is goin be a disaster from start to Finnish...

Agree..., time the misty-eyed sentimentality to end and we recognise we need a replacement for Gerrard. A superb servant at the club but in itself not a justification to keep his place..
