I am in a great mood martial, a superb one actually. You seem to be finding it difficult to come to terms with our 2014 world champion.

No need to be bitter

did you shed a little tear when he crossed the line manx

No, I punched the air. It was when he was on the podium that I broke down crying with so much joy.

What a great weekend; Utd beat Arsenal and Lewis is the world champion.

Lovely

of course Hamilton deserves this title

So Mercedes have had the dominant car, but that's not the first time or last time that will happen. McLaren late 80's, Williams mid 90's, McLaren late 90's, Ferrari early 00's, RedBull early 10's.

The difference being to most of those (with McLaren late 80's being an obvious exception, maybe Williams mid 90's too?) is that Mercedes let their drivers race each other with no team-orders, no No.1/No. 2.

If this championship is cheap then heaven forbid what that says about Schumacher's/Vettel's/Mansell's/Prost's 4th title

That's no diss to Mansell btw as he could well and maybe should have walked away with the 86/87 championships

T & A was having a laugh and managed to snare Martial who is frothing at the mouth that the little black boy is a double world champion

Martial keeps calling Schumi a manufactured champion saying his team was built around him, had a designer to suit his style and a subservient team mate.

When you point out the same thing with Seb, he says it is different and says Webber was allowed to race Seb.

The guy does not understand the sport he claims to watch

posted on 24/11/14

I still maintain, an unpopular opinion on here, I know that Schumi was the best of the best. The guy was an absolute beast and could drive anything in any weather. I will admit that his team mates were not allowed to challenge him, I agree. I will admit that he had the benefit of the bridgestone tyres and testing.

You can have all those things and still not dominate a sport the way he did. All you need to do is look at his performances the first day he drove an F1 car at Spa and his subsequent performances and how he transformed Ferrari. Something the resident <coughs> most complete driver on the grid was unable to do

What stands Schumacher above Vettel imo is his performances in the Ferrari 1996/1997. This was when the Ferrari was not the best car on the grid (2nd or 3rd best car?), yet he brought the best out of those cars.
