The free kick that went straight out of play against Palace at the weekend summed up Mignolet's season. Liverpool can't go on with either him in goal or Lovern and Skrtel playing so poorly in front of him. Something has to give. Rodgers needs to address it
Harsh to blame it all on Mignolet. Your defence is still poor without him.
We have one of the best keepers in the league and it doesn't stop our defence from being rubbish.
Adrian, Fabianski, Krul, Szczesny have all conceeded less goals than Mignolet this season. That's not becuase they are better goalkeepers, that's because the defence in front of them is better.
Mingolet, in my opinion, is the worst keeper in the league
His catching is poor, his positioning is worse and his kicking is... well there are no words that I can type to express what I think of his kicking.
A disaster
Sadly for us BR is stubborn when it comes to players hes signed as opposed to the ones he hasn't who are treated differently. So no chance of doing the right thing and cutting our losses on Mignolet in January.

This isn't quite true really is it. Borini, Aspas, Sakho, Alberto, Ilori and Markovic I'm sure will back me up on that.
However, the keeper does not seem to trust the back four and I fairly certain that the back four don't trust the keeper.

I don't think he has the minerals, or the distribution, to be the No. 1 at Liverpool.

This. I swear on my life I've got better feet than Mig and I reckon I've got a bit more bottle as well.
Great shot stopper
He doesn't let in goals he shouldn't
However if the back 4 don't trust him and they don't work as a unit then he needs removing
I feel bad for him as I don't think it's just him, the system practically guarantees we won't get a clean sheet.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next keeper had problems too. But the current back 5 don't work as a group so you have to make a change
I don't think doing nothing is an option. But I also think migs being scapegoated for a problem not entirely of his making

Borini, back you up ? he cant even get rid of him hes that soft when it comes to his own signings
Mignolet is the worst keeper we've had since Westerveld. We have gone so far back since Reina left, and although Reina was looking uninterested and past his best in his last couple of seasons, he is still head and shoulders above Mignolet.
We drastically need a leader at the back, in goal and at centre back. We had that with Reina and Carragher, we certainly don't have that with Mignolet and Lovren/Skrtel. Toure could possibly lead and organise but stubborn Rodgers isn't giving him a deserved chance. As for the keeper, the sooner we bring in a new keeper the better.
If the rumours of Cech are true then great, that would suffice, but that does seem highly unlikely (although the bitter sweet argument is that we aren't exactly a threat to Chelsea's position any more this season, so maybe Mourinho would sell him to us now).
Also, Grobbelaar speaks a lot of sense regarding Mignolet - he will never be good enough!

He only seems to shot low shots, as he always seems to crouch so low for his natural stance. Any shot near the top of the goal and he struggles.
He is generally just a dire keeper who needs to go.
