Arteta is injured...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know, but I'd rather have a Ramsey - Flamini midfield than a Flamini - Wilshere - Ramsey midfield
Whenever Wilshere plays other midfielders seem to have nightmare..every time.
Wilshere has been good this season so far. We will miss his energy and determination.
Wilsheres not good enough. Never has been. Pure hype. Will hold Arsenal back.

From a personal level he has done very well, but the team defo doesn't look balanced with him.
The Number 4 Shirt
Has been England's best player over the last number of games, and while you are entitled to your opinion JW's talent is obvious.
Utilising his talent in the current Arsenal set up has been problematic, not his ability.
We look FAR better without him in the team. He dribbles into codelsacs at every opportunity, hangs on to the ball for too long and has zero positional ability.
Won't be missed and I think our results will improve while he's out.
Harsh but its the bare facts. Wilshere is a liability for us at the moment and I actually think it will be a good thing for our season if he isnt around.
Talented boy but has made too many key, game changing mistakes in big games at big moments. He was no doubt looking good but it was the final part of his game aka finishing, controlling the boy at a key time or making a key pass that was missing and has cost us this season. He was given too much responsiblity and failed
Hes not a no10 and as such such have the no10 shirt taken off him. Hes more of a deep lying playmaker.
Not a great fan of Wilshere, but we will miss him when either one of Ramsey and Flamini picks up a fatigue related injury, and you know it'll happen.
We're down to the bare bones and a decent bit of squad rotation was on the cards. Now we'll have to keep our fingers crossed until Jan and hope Wenger will strengthen.
And WWSPD is spot on. Wilshere's ability should not be questioned. He's a talented youngster with a great future, but our biggest problem is utilising him in a system that gets the best out of him.
He's already shown with England what a quality passer he is. I don't care what the opposition is, you don't stop those lofted passes of his. Absolute pin point accuracy on display. But he never seems to do it for the Arsenal.
Agree with What Would.... on this one as well.
He's arguably been one of our best players this season, but there have been problems trying to fit him, and the other central AMs we have, in the team all at the same time.
Also, I don't think that stat really has much worth at this point.
First of all, the season is very young.
And second, we've only won 4 Premiership games all season, so the sample pool of data we're working with here is tiny.
Also, Wilshere didn't start in a lot of our - on paper - easiest games this season (Aston Villa, Burnley, Sunderland, and Leicester), but did start against Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton, and Tottenham.
I think another point worth mentioning is that JW is only 22, and much of his young career has unfortunately been plagued by injury.
If he can overcome his injury problems I see no reason why he cannot go on to become a great player for us.
The problem is as many have described in my view - Wilshere is very talented but the team often looks unbalanced when he plays.
The thing is that Wenger still don't know where to play Wilshere. Last season he has even tried him wide ffs.
Players have been moved around just to accommodate him. Özil was the first victim and now it is Ramsey.
now that he is out for 3 months, hopefully things will be back to normal.
Wilsheres injury is a loss to the team collectively, forget personally.
It means Santi is close to being first choice and he has been rubbish.
At the moment I prefer Wilshere to Ramsey, doesnt matter how many dribbles Jack fails to make.
We played a deeper lying defence last night. Absolutely no reflection on Wilshere or what he brings to the team.
That's a silly way of looking at things. Ozil and Arteta are already out long-term. Ramsey and Cazorla have been poor or inconsistent. AT WORST, we need Wilshere as a squad and tactical option.
Santi was great against Dortmund b10.
^Agreed. I think Cazorla in a central position works very well.
