Massive win.

Two more in the next week and we will be right back in business.

Very happy with that, we were up for the fight and got stuck back into stoke. They had very few chances bar bojan hitting the post.

Thought kolo was very good won his aerial battles, Lucas did well too and while the first 30 mins were poor we were by far the better team for the last 60 when we began to press higher with more energy.

Still lots of improvements to make but after four defeats a good fraw away in Europe followed up by a deserved home league win and a clean sheet v a side we struggle against is good, small steps and all that

thought we looked less likely to score when lucas went off for gerrard.

Have Stoke ever scored at Anfield?

The players confidence was shaky today, but after our back pushed up after 30 minutes we at least looked better.

Bojan produced his Barca form in the second half and we suggled to cope with it at times, but we looked a lot better with the defensive line pushed up the fullbacks going forward allowing Lucas and Allen to press the ball, giving Henderson and Sterling a foothold in the game.

Shat my pants for the last 10 minutes, but at least that's a hard fought 3 points. Hard work and bit more bottle is what we need to turn this around
