Or will Flamini play there with Chambers in DM and Bellerin RB?
-------------------
This would be my first choice.
Also, Soton have only conceded 6 goals so I'm more worried about how we are going to score.
Has Coq gone on loan? I like him more at left back than centre mid.
There's nothing wrong with Gibbs though so why the concern?

Wenger said after the game he's struggling with an ankle problem
Bellerin played as a left-wing-back when he was on-loan last season, so it wouldn't surprise me if he played there.
Flamini did a good job in that position back in our CL run in 2005/2006, but I fear his lack of pace could be exploited by someone like Long or Mane.
Did he say what was wrong with Monreal? Wasnt clear what happened. Thought maybe he got a kick.
Yeah he said both Monreal and Ox have a knee problem
For God sake not ox as well! Hoping they were just Impact injuries and will be back for southampton game. But knowing arsenal it'll keep them out for 4 weeks.
BOO is injured.
Coquelin loan was meant to end 3rd December, not sure if it was extended. Doubt he will come back.
Personally I would play Podolski there...
Gibbs didn't look too bad and neither did Ox
Cow's loan was extended another month. Story was around a couple of days ago.
Seems a weird decision that. He's always been handy as decent cover in a few different positions, but is he not registered for the league perhaps?
He is registered in the league, was on the bench early doors.
Wenger obviously has no tine for him.
Watching southampton today shows it's definitely going to be a tough match. Won't be easy to get a goal.
The whole defence is a mess due to Wenger's negligence in the transfer market - we are likely to be defensively weak once more against Southampton
Early days but it seems that Koeman has built a similar flat track bully system at S'hampton that we have at Arsenal over last few years. The way they play allows them to regularly beat inferior teams but just as regularly lose to the teams with superior players. Therefore I can see us beating them fairly comfortably
