wouldnt only beat this team, it would beat this team 9.5 times out of 10

It would be a serious WUM who said this team was as good as this current team can be. It only needs a few tweaks imo.

I thought this team is the current team?? Confused.com

Its far to early imo, at this stage the 04/05 side is superior, but didn't have a long spell of dominance .

But with this side i really believe this group will have a 3/4 year run and pick up more silverware.

This side is being put together with the future in mind + FFP. the o4/05 side was created with a win at all costs mentality.( no bad thing )

Yes but you did have to contend with Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Hargeaves, Scholes, Giggs and Carrick, Vidic, Ferdinand, VDS, Brown and Evra, to name a few. Fergie as well.

Thats right Shin, but this side will have its yards sticks, you can only beat what is in front of you, quality will always shine through.

I hope we can become a genuine european force over this period, challenging the top tier elite clubs.

True.

I'm expecting

De Gea
Rafael
Shaw
Smalling
Jones
Carrick
Blind
Herrera
Di Maria
Rooney
Falcao

Rojo
Evans
Mata
RvP
Januzaj
Wilson
Warchest

to be that stick. England's coefficient status is taking a battering due to a certain Scotsman. We need Chelsea and United earning the points.

I've spoken to a number of United fans (no wum intended here) who fear De Gea may leave you in the Summer.

Do you share that fear or do you think top 4 would secure a new contract?

Man City beat that nearly invincible team though

Great question.

There's definitely a worry there, him being Spanish and all.

Real and Barca have both acquired new keepers, as have Atletico, so any of them could fail. Thus increasing the chances of a bid.

ISecuring CL would definitely help, but if he does stay, I believe it will partly be to do with the Spanish/Spanish speaking contingent we have: Mata, Herrera, Falcao, Rojo, Fellaini (see pic) and Di Maria (don't see pic)

very true, with an effin soft penalty, but that aside we still conceded the fewest goals in the Premiership era with the record points.
