Young and Valencia will act as wide men
------
This is true. They very much act as wideman. They don't actually play like real ones, unfortunately.
This is a perfect game for falcao imo. He is a predator in and around the box. Stoke will be camped in their own half. Real shame he hasn't started

RVP isn't captain apparently, so who is?
Carrick captain tonight. Thought it might have been RVP.
Actually sickening we have them playing full back.
Punishment for his shít form
Good game to play Wilson.
We lacked pace against Hull in my opinion, especially when Di Maria went off.Luckily we got through that game by wearing down Hull with decent possession play.
Tonight should be a tougher game.

Wilson hasn't really had the chance to really run in behind defences, VC.
..................
Does that mean his speed can not be considered, then?
Should we all just worry about Shawcross breaking his legs instead/
No, I would like to think Shawcross isn't going to break his legs.
Not really. I could ask them to leave the club, actually.
I was being facetious, VC. But I do worry that he'll get injured by Shawcross because he's a thug and Wilson does seem quite injury prone as well from what I've gathered.
People want Shawcross back at United too. What a joke.

Our injuries have been a joke absolutely. Without Rooney I can see us struggling very much. RVP is crap nowadays and Wilson is a newbie. With Valencia, Fellaini and Young being there is not hope either.
Its all upto Herrera and Mata for the creativity

Meh its too comfortable for him. Would much prefer blackett out there. Stoke is a big team and he is a full back who could use the playing time

Shawcross is a decent defender. I dont get the Shawcross-phobia on our boards.
Far better CB than Evans imo and probably Smalling and Rojo
Not hard being better than Evans, to be fair.
That is the best 11 we all could have hoped for with the injury situation.
I agree that falcao should be on the bench considering he is just getting back from injury and we don't want him to breakdown.
