What is the likelihood of a postponement anyone ? The FP says that you are due a large snowfall.

Very unlikely NY.
The BBC forecast for Oldham is just grey and cloudy.

"NEWSHOUND"?

The "Popular Stand 250 word match report" on the 1-1 at Oakwell is by a Barnsley fan supposedly and was very complimentary http://popularstand.wordpress.com/2014/12/05/barnsley-1-1-doncaster-rovers-250-word-match-report/

I think the point I made and MickyPDX made it too was that Dickov always described the next match as "going to be tough"; perhaps young Johnson does not always say this of the forthcoming opposition.

I agree though that Oldham do seem to be one of the form sides and will provide a very difficult test. No doubt there will be others like Evina (who we might hope will not be used), Wabara and several of Dickov's staff plus Wellens of course who will see this as rather a crunch game too, so we shall have to hope that we can break the recent trend.

I think we go into this with good deal of hope, especially as it seems indisputable now that we are "playing football" having stopped relying on counter-attacking/long speculative balls.

Whether what we have got is good enough depends on how good Oldham are and I don't really know the answer to that. Perhaps they might "rest" some of their better players based on a need to concentrate on the League where they are obviously well-placed for a promotion drive.

Don, you sum up more or less the thoughts i have about the game tomorrow.
The Barnsley fan in the attachment saw the game how i imagined it to be from the radio commentary which had two ex pro's doing the assistance for the Radio Sheffield bloke.
They were all complementary about our boys and in particular Wellens.

I don't know what game he was watching which included Wellens, it was one of the worst performances of this for long time! Often gave the ball away and looked disinterested at times!
