everyone knows the amount of buys for a manny/mayweather fight would far outsell any other fight mayweather could hope to sell.
Without a doubt it would but thats where percentages come in, mayweather probably averages 1m ppv buys but against canelo they where obviously going to atleast double that doesn't mean canelo should get 40-50%! Manny IMO would be favorite to beat mayweather now but his numbers don't allow him to have 40-50% revenue of he gets anywhere near 40% I will be surprised
Only obsessed Flomos care about the numbers PPV fights do, how much each fighter makes etc. It's the problem with today's fans. Nobody cares.
And for the record, Arum obviously knew the fight wouldn't do over 500k, hence why it was in Macau and he made up all of that lost money with revenues in China casinos etc.
That's not true he predicted 700-950 ppv sales so it was indeed a massive flop, not really mannys fault more arums, but as the biggest fight of our generation is on the line can manny/arum really justify asking for 40-50% in a ideal world they would both fight for free on normal tv but that's not the case

Is anyone actually that bothered about a Pacquaio Mayweather fight anymore?
There's heaps of exciting fights being made out there just now, between guys who aren't past their prime who will actually engage in a scrap.
Floyd v Manny is old news.

u lightweights up for the boxing? dulorme vs lundy has started well
this is a great fight, dulorme so uncomfortable under pressure
joke scorecard that last one, that was a close fight
Floyd only cares for his 0. His career is built around it.
He will not get in a ring with Pac because he is scared to lose it.
Therefore PPV sales mean fluck all in this context.
