Facts might sway me yes LIW, but instead of everybody who disagrees just constantly moaning about it why not act?
Start a campaign to get him out if you hate him that much or start a consortium - if I'm unhappy with something in life I act to change it rather than just sitting about moaning about it! It's like listening to a group of old women on here

Exactly! Lodge your disapproval, make it a topic of debate, then if u still have issue with it act.
Its the stuff keyboard warrior deities are pining for.
Biggest load of bull I've heard.
Whilst I don't trust Cellino, I love the club and last thing it needs is protests outside the ground and a campaign to get the owner out.
Doesn't hide the fact we've an idiot in charge
Mighty
It's a bloody forum mate, we're on here to discuss Leeds, preferably the football, but ownership and debts unfortunately effect that also.
Using that logic shouldn't you be at the football league right now doing something about te ruling? If not you shouldn't be voicing your support of Cellino! Not on this forum for opinions anyway!

This statement is at immediate odds with your username!
Get your sen down to the owners office and challenge him. Put the Stella down, put your reebok classics on and go get em tiger!
Gate, discussion can only go so far! If Cellino is really this bad for the club u all claim to love, then protect the clubs interest by letting him know.
It's better than having a cockroach running....sorry raping the club, cockroach put rock all in but I bet he took a fair bit out at least cellino is upfront about what's happening whereas the cockroach was happy calling us morons...whenever we dared to question as to wtf he was doing with the incomings of cash when there was no proper players brought the academy was brought to its knees, paying extortionate rent rates, that's where the club was being killed......people have very selective memories......

Using that logic we signed a petition.
Keep up toots
Same petition I signed Mike.
I don't want another few years of petracted takeovers and owners fighting in court whilst club is on its knees.
But it doesn't change the facts in the reports and the bollo cks he talks about being debt free/have working capital/have transfer funds available and promising to but the ground back 4 times!
I don't want to hear this bull anymore and people like you fall for every word.
This thread was asking people on here to have some perspective and I don't think everything he's done has been bad, but he's not this saviour people make out.

Therefore he cannot be the demon people make him out to be.
Mike?!? What?!?
You signed a petition!!!!
That must have been so hard! Bet it makes a huge difference mate!
Does that mean if I spend 5 mins setting up a petition and sign it, I too will have devoted myself to the cause as you desire?
Jimmy Saville did a lot of good too!
Saying that I don't think Cellino is te demon at all. Just don't think the club will improve or progress while he is in charge
When Bates sold Delph, he promised to buy back Thorpe arch or re invest, but never did.
Cellino sells McCormack, said he'll buy the ground back with the money, but hasn't.
These are things people overlook. I mark em down and hold them to their word, I buy a season ticket every year which in my opinon gives me a voice, because I'm helping the club and in a way investing.
Jimmy Saville did a lot of good too!

stupid person
He did mike. And he is still up there as one of the worst humans in history.
So don't pretend that because Cellino has done the odd positive thing he can't be bad
I'm not sure anyone has blamed the FL for the financial situation at ER so the sarky comment at the height of this thread is merely a reflection of someone who has little or nothing to contribute tangibly to the argument. The very same person applauding the FL.......
Indeed I'm not seeing much in terms of alternatives to what we've had. There's a lot based on supposition from both sides.
The reality is no one will put money into any club with a view to writing it off unless they really are stupid and rich. And that type of individual is thin on the ground.
Cellino is putting money into the club. It's a fact. GFH & Bates were both taking money out of the club, not simply interest from an investment.
We've seen investment in players.
My only gripe has been the merry go round of coaches. Not needed and I'm not sure we've got the right man even now.
Bottom line we are better off under Cellino than the two previous regimes. He cares. We are not worse off financially, there's been improvements. Overheads are more under control too.
What is it that people want?
Actually the base rate has got sod all to do with the issue. 8% may be on the high side, but the fact is it's less than anyone else would lend us money. If anyone would lend us money at all!
Perhaps you'd be happier if he just gave it to us?
The man is trying to drive down costs to reduce our losses. Be grateful that for the first time we have an owner who gives a sh__.
Havefaith, at least i did something proactive! You being Mr beta male, bark from behind your device and do sod all that actually makes noise!
Also your comparison is daft and laughable.
Sunday is not a good day for you is it?
Mike,
My comparison is an extreme example to show how naive your logic is!
Sunday is a great day.
If you think signing a petition is proactive you can't pretend to be an alpha make can you?
Next you will tell me the writing a stern letter shows how hard you are!
Was told on Friday he is looking for investment which leaves him with 25% and still running the show, met with Red Bull but they wanted 100%, there is an outfit from Qatar sniffing around but they are worried about ousting Cellino and upsetting the fans as they think he is popular.

Based on those 2 comments, i dont think writing is something you should come within 100 miles of.
Dreary old swine!
How many argumentative comments are more about losing face than who is better for the club?
I'm concerned that the FL will just pull the rug out from under us if they feel they are being deliberately ignored as being of no consequence in regards to its own rules.
Makes no difference what we think of them, it's their competition we compete in.
No club's owner just hands over millions of pounds to the club. Have you seen who Chelsea owe about £60m to? Their own owner! All investment comes in a term of a loan otherwise the investors would have no right to their money back.
Chelsea's finances are in good shape, they just posted highest profit during Abramovich's reign and are set to pass the FFP test.
And yes, their owner has handed over millions of pounds to the club and Abramovich has converted debt into equity.
Sign in if you want to comment
