ALDERSHOT
Aldershot to Upton Park - Not that far
Tottenham to Manchester... Quite far
ALDERSHOT
But a true test of loyalty and support is when times are not so good
============================
Says myhammers, who was listening to the game on his radio last night, when there was 10,000 spare tickets going begging at just £10 each.
Tottenham to Manchester too far?? Your club plays its first Premiership game for over 2 weekends, and you claim it's too far?? Arsenal took more fans to Italy!!
I wonder how many of you fair-weather fans would fill a 60k stadium when you're not doing so well?!
myhammers,
Why didnt you go West Ham last night?
I went to Manchester on Monday! did you go to Upton Park last night???
THudd,
myhammers listened to it on his radio. At just £10 a ticket, you'd have thought even the most skint, loyal fan, would have managed to get there, wouldn't you?
So now you're talking about individual fans as opposed to a club's fanbase. Bit desperate!
I personally do not go to many matches. I prefer to listen on the radio, or watch it on the internet. It has little to do with proximity.
However, I will go to a few Championship games this season.
So you're a plastic fan
This is priceless!
myhammers,
I personally do not go to many matches.
=====================================
So you mock fans for not travelling to Old Trafford on a Monday night, but then confirm you dont even walk down the road to watch your own team.
The cry of hypocrisy is deafening.
Bookmarked.
Chicken
Amazing isn't it, he calls himself a fan but won't go to the games
I'm going tonight! and probably 10 more times this season!
You sir, are a plastic fan
erm, it does say quite clearly in my profile that I attend a few games a season...
And were we not talking about clubs' fanbases?
myhammers,
Are you that stupid that you cannot see the hypocrisy in what you post?
I was one of the 2000 fans that went to OT Monday we outsang them for 90 mins
You stayed at home to listen to the West Ham game (which they lost to Aldershot... )..
Shows the difference between me and you!
THudd: We're not talking about you or me. We are talking about the average number of fans who go to games. It's a straightforward point which you don't seem to grasp.
And are you really saying that someone who doesn't go to more than a few games a season is a plastic fan? Really? Maybe you should start a thread and see how many people laugh at that notion.
THudd
It sounds like you definitely go to more games than me, but i get there when i can & when i can afford it. But trust me, if Spurs were playing at home, i was free to make it, and the tickets were just £10 a pop, there is no way on this earth i would be listening to it at home on a radio.
That, even by myhammers standards, is shocking.
I am so pleased we've had this conversation, myhammers reputation, for any once that he had left, has been shot to pieces.
I'm talking about you!! you show yourself as this big West Ham fan but in reality you only listen to it on the radio or stream it ILLEGALLY via the internet
I guarantee you that if the United game was a 3o'clock kick off we would have sold those 3000 tickets,
Cost of ticket £45
Travel (train) £100
And that was for me!. not including beers and food!
Oh and we play in the Premiership.... you play in the Championship
Chicken
If Spurs sold tickets for £10 a head I can assure you I would be there every week!!
No matter what league they were playing in
It clearly states on my profile that I attend a few games a season. Are you both that thick?
myhammers,
THudd: We're not talking about you or me. We are talking about the average number of fans who go to games
===============================
But even when we talk about averages, West Ham are still far, far, far weaker. Your attendance last night, in a one-off cup tie, where tickets were just £10, West Ham still couldnt fill 20,000 seats.
That is poor by anyone's standards, pal.
And there were you, sitting at home, listening to the radio, whilst re-arranging your sock drawer.
Are you both that thick?
Think we have hit a nerve Chicken
The fact is, Tottenham's fair-weather fans could not regularly fill a 60k stadium. Arsenal took more fans to Italy than you took to Manchester! Even Aldershot had more.
myhammers
Would you like me or THudd to create an article, which can be updated week by week, quoting the attendances of games from both our clubs?
I'm quite happy to do it if you want to compare.
Let me know.

My question to you is, have we ever had a 60k stadium?
Arsenal took 400 fans to Italy we took close to 2000
